No one is doing well; the only chance comes from Maldini on the left, who crosses it to Gilardino, who turned and passed it to Pato for a 1vs1 but missed! Turned out the defender touched it lightly but not sure, by judging the trajectory of the ball, if the ball is going into the net anyway.

That's the closest chance we have, and it involves both of our strikers.

For the rest of the first half, no one plays well.

Poor match, we're too slow though our shape isn't bad. The referee is whistle blowing happy and it shows.

The problem with the team is now darn obvious: it's the structure of the team. When you have Gattuso and Ambro wnho are both defensive, it's really difficult to do anything creative.

Pirlo is not god; he c an't produce magic every game.

Relying on the back wings for crosses is, for this year's Milan, suicidal.

That's why we are not seeing Milan attack; the problem is structural in nature, and has been like that for the past few years already. With injury bugging us this year, the problem is simply magnified.

Pato has showed touches of magic, except for a miss which was deflected...

How is it a 1vs1 if there is a defender to deflect the ball? If Gila's pass was a bit more closer to Pato maybe he would've buried it, but he can't exactly make the defender's feet disappear.
