Pippo did hit the post 2 times and the bar 1 time. So it was only right that he got a goal in the end. We didn't play a very good game but got a point and now we are 100% qualified even though before this game you could say that as well. Even though we played bad we had the better chances I think, and if our team put in more enthusiasm throughout the whole game instead of only in the final 10 minutes.......then we would have comfortably beaten Portsmouth. Anyhow....we are qualified and lets look forward to Palermo.

Forza Milan.

That was a pretty awesome finish....I saw it on ESPN360.com and it was great seeing Milan go down and almost instantly watching players like Pirlo, Seedorf, Pato and Ronaldinho being pulled off the bench....the freakin bench!

And what a finish....shut the bloody commentator and crowd up about their "this will be a huge scalp for Pompey" LOL

We should have won this game...but oh well.....highly entertaining last 15 minutes

No need tgo change it, we were outplayed and crushed by Pompey. They played wayyyy better. Milan only started to play for the last 10 min or so, when Roni scored from a free kick. I dont know why Carlo pulled Kaka off, but I love seeing him with the capitan arm band. Give it to KAKAAAAAAAAA.

Coz Kaka played not well and I have to give credit to Carlo for his Kaka's substitution. He 'dared' enough to change Kaka even Kaka will be rest against Palermo. If a player play bad, just substitute him even he is an very importand player.

Milan's captain : Maldini-->Ambrosini-->Gattuso-->Nesta-->Kaladze (yes Kaladze!)-->....--->Kaka.

Well I figured since Kaka is not going to play against Palermo, then I though he should have used Kaka the whole game. But its all good I just loved seeing Kaka with the capitans arm band.

That's the big point why I give credit to Carlo. He knows Kaka wont play against Palermo but he was still be able to think positively and wisely that Kaka must be substituted if R80 came, otherwise Milan would play 1-striker formation which could be useless with regard of the use of offensive tactic.

I have to admit that I don't like seeing Kaka with captain's armband. I hate to see a selfish player wore that armband.

about the captain arm band, Nesta is not on the list... Seedorf has worn it before, Pirlo a couple times in games where he was pretty much the only Non-Primavera player... Shevchenko was on that list, but you all know why he's no it anymore...it's like

Maldini > Ambrosini > Gattuso > Kaladze > and then whoever is on the game from

Seedorf, Kaka', Pirlo

Inzaghi got it because he happened to be nearby ^^

I think it's a good result since we were resting most of our key players. Pompey were dominated before R80, Seedorf, and Pato entered the game. I think it should be like 5 goals for Milan if we didnt have bad luck And it was the right decision by Carletto by not pushed many of our key players considering that we have Palermo game within 3 days again. From Pompey side, Traore was good. His coordination with Belhadj simply annoyed Zambrotta and Antonini ^^ And.. Pippo.. no need to say more.. simply worth every penny from his extension contract... ^^ The result may draw but the important thing is we already qualified and time to concentrate to get the 1st spot from Inter in Serie A

oh no, you gotta be kidding, we can't buy everyone that puts decent crosses in a game... we'd have 145 players we don't need...

Quite honestly, a rubbish performance by the side. We barely scraped through at the end due to poor defending by Portsmouth and really we never looked good despite hitting the post 3 times.

I won't go into detail like normally, but in defence I was disappointed by how much Antonini and Zambrotta (who I'll give the benefit of the doubt as he's returning from injury) struggled down the wings. Senderos looked awful almost everytime he was involved and Favalli was playing a poor game.

In midfield, Gattuso and Flamini did reasonably, while Emerson was ok too. However, I was really disappointed in Kaka as he simply didn't look like he wanted to be there most of the match and seemed lethargic. I think one aspect of his game he needs to redeem lately is his pace. He's always been clever in the past by raising the pace of our game when needed and looking to make the breakthrough, and although most of his performances of late have been reasonably sound (by his standards, by others' standards he's been very good), this aspect of his game is what makes him special and he needs to look to lead our attacks again.

HOWEVER, and this is a big however, I think Kaka does deserve some defending as we essentially played long ball for most of the match, so he constantly saw the ball flying over his head through the match.

In attack, Pippo was fairly good and unlucky not to have scored a hattrick and Sheva wasn't particularly impressive, although I appreciate his workrate.
