Santacroce was excellent during this game (in defence, because he seemed to be placed like a RB but doesn't help to attack at all, so he is a true CB I think). Balotelli showed again he needs to grow up mentally, but with Ibrahimovic as an example, it will be hard for him ...

Ourt last for matches are with Juventus, Udinese, Fiorentina and Roma.
Inter will meet the small teams, except for Lazio. However, it is fun to put some pressure ![]() |

Perfect. Now lets hope a buncha them are suspended for the Lazio game. We could potentially be 4 points behind when the next round of games are up.

Milan team's conditionning is much better compared with mid-season period.we run a lot, with our superior skill and tactical system, palermo is no match for such an energy level milan.I think if we can keep this intensity whole season,we are the most favorite for scudetto.

Seriously, if it was not for the PK in 10mins, this will be a very different game. We will still win but won't be a walkover like we did.
Most of the team played very well I really don't see how some of you are saying Seedorf did well, b/c to me, he is an invisible man on the pitch. The funny thing is that, Carlo probably put Seedorf in for his defensive abilities and yet, I never saw him track back for defense nor make key interceptions, while as Kaka actually made at least two interceptions in OUR OWN HALF. Although I love watching Dinho, but he was really just playing when he came on. He lacks that intensity but it was already 3-0 with Palermo playing a man down, can't really blame him for lacking motivations. As for Sheva not getting chances, well, I think his positioning was a bit off, as there were a couple of times, Sheva of old would have a shot on goal. Another thing I notice is Beck and Pirlo, by having Beck playing next to Pirlo, the opponents can no longer zoom in on Pirlo as we have two players who can make the long pass. |

I dont know, maybe I saw a different game than you, Gabriel, but Seedorf was actually pretty good. He did his offensive duties well and covered a lot of ground defensively, on numerous occasions, he was back helping Zambro in defense. I thought he added a lot of balance to the team with his all round play.
Must say I was quite dissapointed with R80 when he came on. Didnt do much, he simply hugged the left touch line and exchanged passes with people near him. Dont know why he doesnt operate more centrally. On the left, and without proper pace, he is just a one trick pony. Sheva I thought showed a lot of effort. He is finally looking like a player again. It's not his fault if no one passes him the ball in the area, how is he supposed to score? I just hope Carlo plays him more maybe as a second striker and give him more time to get used to the game rhythm. I dont know, maybe its just being sentimental, but I cannot see how our second all time leading scorer could all of a sudden become a dud...hope he is given the chance and hope he starts scoring. |

It seems every time Seedorf starts we are pissed off. What Carletto sees in him? His better than usual form in "crutial" games. That's why he's fielded to keep his usual form. Carletto has the tradition of playing under formed players.
He's nolonger dynamic, nolonger creative. I guess the match against Juve could be either the one proves Carletto or Seedorf's last in Milan. |

I was actually concentrated on Seedorf in this match to see what he was doing on the field and believe me he returned almost every time to cover on the middle left side at about 16 to 20 meters from our goal and has blocked their attack, then when we took the ball he usually played someone and went to join the attack. This is not an easy job to do whether we like him or not, it takes away great deal of flashiness from the player, but i give him credit for that, he ran a lot and it's a pity they don't have that statistic of covered distance of the player. Something similar did Beckham, but with more pace and less consistency.
I would really like to hear from those who went to the stadium to watch the match as they are able to see more clearly who does what on the field.
