With Flamini and Zam are wingbacks, we can limit the chance of Juve as they use 442 formation.

Juve play with 10 men at home, what a strategy!

soibui · 10-05-2009, 14:01

Whats up with Pato? I'd like to have seen him test this defense. Apart from Gattuso, the front six is Ancelotti's favourites.

Defence very bad so far. Seddorf out !

Ryo · 10-05-2009, 14:24

Half Time
And what BS is this?

Our attack lacks bite, we haven't actually gotten a clear-cut chance on goal yet, apart from one Kaka effort that Buffon had no problem collecting.

They're catching us on the break, and it's been potentially dangerous every second chance they get (first chances, they seem to mess up a lot). I have to say that if it weren't for three interventions by Flamini, we really would have been in deep horse dung already.

We need Pato on in the second half to run at their defence, but I can't decide between Inzaghi (who's wasted 3 chances, which Pato would have buried) or Seedorf (who's been very lacking in the final ball) to take off.

ACMILAN1983 · 10-05-2009, 14:24

Not the best half of football. A scrappy game but also we don't have enough players pressuring the Juve backline, as Kaka's generally drifting around to the wide areas and Pippo is left alone. Seedorf should be the man to support the duo in attacks but is no where to be seen most of the time, and isn't producing anything.

We're not playing a really bad game by any means, but we must control the tempo better and get Pato on for Seedorf.

We really pushed for the goal and attacked with few nice chances for Pippo, in this half but I have to say they got closer to goal from the counters. Anyway this is the way to play them, they are using two very strong and high forwards and giving them possession would let them capitalize on their height, remember how many corners they had in the first match, tonight it was only one.

What bothers me are the Seedorf and Kaka as they should make the difference here, and they haven't made too many precise passes, let's hope they find their pace in the second half.
