if gaddafi was to become our new owner i would have serious ethical issues with my support for milan, would you guys really want a whole bunch of new signings if you knew the money came from a complete tyrant. In any case he is just like the owners of man city and chelsea he would get bored with the Milan team sooner or later leaving us dependant on large cash payouts to support the team wages and transfer activities.

what young ( sub 23/24) South American talents would you like to see in Milan?

Today, sub 23/24, Brazilians, Giuliano(midfielder) from Internacional, David Luiz(CB) from Benfica and the one I will tell in the final of the post.

Needless to say my favourite Brazilian CB is Alex from Chelsea, but after him, imo David is the best. Portugal pappers were saying Chelsea send a scout to watch him playing all year, but after yesterday news, maybe Chelsea is out of the race...

There´s also Sandro(DM) from Internacional, but with Ambro, Pirlo, Gattuso Flamini and also the promise of Abate I can´t see going after him.

I will post more about new players here in Brazil in my thread to no go even more off topic. But, there´s a 21 years old DM that imo will be(already is) amazing and that you guys need to know before the hype start.

His name is Jucilei, and he came to Corinthians this year from a small club(J. Malucelli) of the state of Paraná. Tall, strong and is icredible skilled for a DM...His pace is deceptive also, because he´s a long strider. One more thing, and that I value high(some people doesn´t care): A class act, humble and hard work lad.

He caught my eyes in his debut for Corinthians. It´s too hard to play there(pressure), just ask Lulinha. But the boy did great against Internacional(big club), and almost score after this amazing play:

This is a guy that barring injure(he isn´t a head case), will cost a outrageous price in one year from now. Brazil NT starter material, no doubt!
Where are Milan scouts???

Im trying so hard to remain in good spirits , but its hard we'll see how the season pans out. Its amazing that if Cissokho stayed and Hernanes or VDV came and maybe a better CB than Onyewu (no disrespect to Gooch) that we would look in so much better shape. And it wouldnt of taken the world. Im still honestly shocked that Kaka was sold and not replaced , or the squad made better. Kaka didnt have to be replaced directly , and Im not shocked that we got 68 million and didn't invest Im shocked that Kaka was sold and nothing happened in the market.

I think you sum up our disappointment well, jay, and this is how our management will respond (those in bracket = private thought):

1. Cissokho didn't come because of teeth problem (B&B: What? 13 millions for a dude we don't even know if he is going to do well? NO.)

2. Hernanes or VDV (B&B: Who are they?)

3. Kaka was sold because we need to balance the book. He is replaced by R80. (B&B: And my favorite R80 is in my team; only that stupid Carlo didn't use him probably. I'm sure Leo will do a good job at playing him).

So, here you go. Endless excuses.

Hey Brasileiro good to read you posts as ever. Juceili looks good, better than Hernanes to me. (Personally, I feel Hernanes lacks something, Hes got that Riquelme vibe about him). Not sure he will ever be good enough. Maybe im wrong. But this kid looks good, whats he like ina physical battle?

I sure hope the Ghadaffi rumours are false. I mean come on, if Berlu wants to sell the club, there's got to be less controversial characters out there. Come to think of it, why not sell to Kim Jong Il, I'm sure he has a lot of money, or even Fidel Castro. In fact, let's get all three as co-owners. That way we have Al Saad Ghadaffi as our new captain, we can threaten UEFA with nuclear war if they don't give us "easy" groups, and of course we play our summer tournaments in Cuba.

One might have expected Milan to be sold to someone "cleaner" and less controversial, but we have managed to find someone even more corrupt and controversial... and I dare say that is not an easy thing to find :p
I guess it is good news that we are gonna sell (let us thank his children for pressuring him to do so... those greedy bastards just want to inherit more monies when their old man dies, since milan is a money loss).... but please, not Gheddafi.

Finnaly I've found time to write more serious post in this new thread.

First, I have to say I agree with the post that says Hernanes looks like Riquelme a bit and that he may lack something a bit. BUT...

I want to say something I've noticed. In here we talk about different players, their capacity, versatility, age, technique, mantality etc. But in 95% of cases we exclude the whole team that certain player will play in.

It is not enough to just see clearly the caracteristics of some player and then say "he is for Milan, he is a great player", or " he is too slow for Milan" etc.

When we choose players that would be god for Milan, we need to look at the current team and how that certain player would fit in a complete team and its caracteristics: will it bring balance, will he speed the tempo up, maybe he can balance the tempo etc.

For example: People used to say Yoan is too slow. Yes, if we play Gourcuff in midfield with Pirlo, Seedorf and Ronaldinho then he may not be the player we need. Same goes with Hernanes ( who has obvious class, but the question is WHICH team needs him right now ). A player like Gourcuff is not too slow ( I personally think he moves well enough ) for Milan if he plays in a sistem with Kaka', Pato and one moving fullback on his side. Then his smart movement and technique bring a perfect balance and perfect tempo ( fast tempo is not always a perfect tempo ).

Right now we lack vertical fast player in Milan. The player we dONt need is a player like Dinho. Right now we actually dont need Hernanes unless he'll play creative DM, while one of Rinho - Flamini will be on the bench and LM will be played by one new and fast player. etc.

Robben went to Bayern. Robben-Pato-Huntelaar would be 3 times more efficient then this Dinho-walking circus.

I want to say that when we talk about the palyers that are good or not for AC Milan we need to look at the constructtion of our team we already have and then insert palyers that would make the team more balanced ( something Mourinho did with Inter ).

Huntelaar is, in my oppinion, a great player FOR A TECHNICAL SIDE. We'll see how much servise he'll get. For sure, with Kaka', Yoan and PAto he'd score 20 per year. It all depends on the sistem.

CB's and FB's are easy to see, they dont depend on anything ( mostly ). Then are good or they suck

Also, people dont seems to look at the changes that occur on players. Pirlo CANNOT play on the level he used to. He can in 4,5 games per year, maybe sometimes for Azzuri etc. But to place him as a LM, AM, to ask him to play vertically and to press is almost impossible today. Actually I think that he is a waste of time and that the best thing would be to start looking at him realistically and get rid of him for some modern CM. Other cases are Seedorf's "ability" to play CM, Dinho as a CAM, Boriello as a "great CF" etc. Ambro as a LM...

After Chelsea, Manchester United could suffer from the same kind of judgement because of a problem with Fiorentina.

I think that what happens to these big clubs will happen to all the biggest clubs sooner or later (not only from England) because they simply opened a door, an open door meaning "respect the rules or pay".

Like a true captain.....he took matters into his own hands.......right this second he just scored his SECOND stunning goal.....FOR ITALY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


and a side note: Pirlo as bad as ever in this game...his free kicks are just as bad as Gattuso's passes nowadays
