maybe they have got the story mixed up. Genoa maybe requested paloushi on loan + money for borriello. Sampdoria made a similar offer the other day.

Ok, first of all I know this is from Tribalfootball.com which isn't the most reliable source to say the least... Still, IF these stories are true I can see a change in our transfer strategy.

AC Milan transfers guru Braida set to leave post:

Berlusconi admits AC Milan need centre-forward signing:

Anyway, we would still need another new striker as well. Paloschi and Borriello will only be considered backup to Pato and the new striker that Berlusconi wants.

Gilardino + money for Eto'o?

Barcelona Agree Deal With Alves
Daniel Alves has reached a principle agreement to sign for Barcelona in the summer in a deal that would see him pen a five-year contract and earn three times his current salary.

Bye Bye, Alves

Some months ago Max said that it's not true that Milan players has lost their hunger for more silverwares. But I think that's what happening now.

When they came to Milan, Pirlo and Seedorf were trying to prove their worth after a terrible spell in Inter. Nowadays they play bad regularly and we don't have decent back-ups to replace them in the first team.

I think it's natural that after winning so many silverwares throughout their careers, the players are getting less motivated. Just like Gossen's law.

Pehaps the only exception is Paolo...

Do like me: have a total confidence in our management and Carlito for the next mercato !!

I don't know why, but more near we are from the end, and more I think that we will be strong again step by step for the next few years ...

I'm also impatient to watch the last game (when we are 4th lol) that will close the doors of this poor season ... they can do it, they will do it, and we will be in Roma next year !!

Nope, the main problem is in your message, but you don't see it like the main problem actually ... I don't think that they are lacking motivation or whatever else (when you're paid like they are, you can't lol).

I just think that because of the poor bench we have, the first team players have almost no competition to be on the pitch (it's the case for Nesta-Pirlo-Gattuso-Ambro-Kaka-Gila) and as a consequence, they have no pressure to play. Some people could say it is good, but this kind of pressure (the one coming from competition between players to be in the first team) is a good pressure for players: they have to do well, but not only, they also have to do better and better through the year or they get replaced.

It wasn't possible this year to do that, and so we got the following equation: no pressure to be a starter + tireness (umh I will edit if this word isn't correct lol --- fatigue ??) + injuries = poor games and players out of form ...

Nothing more I think, it's a totally normal thing that happened to us (it's my point of view).

The palyer which is PERFECT for our right side, considering we have Rino there is Dani Alves. too bad we are unwilling to pay for him, and have directors who work only if a certain manager comes to Milano for dinner...then Galliani ambushes him And does nothing

Diego, a brilliant player, will be sold. A Brazilian that can play whatever midfield role, even the deeper ones and has 23 years and plays like hell. Seedorf has done his time, he can play 25-30 games per season, not more.

Again i jumped to conclusions about Paloschi being part of the Boriello deal, i think it was the red mist i was under

If Genoa have asked for Paloschi on loan then i don't mind that, i'd be less enthusiastic about it if they wanted half ownership and beside myself with anger if we just give him up.

Wow, for the price we paid for Gilardino & Oliveira we could have both Ronaldinho & Diego at their current market prices

IF Alves does join Barcelona and Rafinha joins Liverpool as i expect, then i think Eboue must be the next best rb to get.

Alves to Barca is just depressing. Just the thought of him there is painful. This is about as bad as when Torres went to Liverpool.

The really painful transfers are in the ones into our club - favalli, ba, digao, emerson, kalac, oliveira.

ain't like we ever were going to get Alves, we were never linked with him.

What happened to Ilsinho, Ceara? those were 2 RBs we were regularly being linked with.

Ilsinho is still playing for Shakhtar Donetsk. I think they did pay for him 11 million, so now if you want him clubs should pay more. I watched him few times and he had play well, he is more like Dani Alves very attacking minded player. He play in the midfield on the right side for Shakhtar.

We were linked with Alves 2 summers ago i believe ... when his price was more around the £15 million mark.
