Cagliari midfielder Andrea Lazzari will reportedly be having a meeting with Milan officials over the coming days to discuss a possible transfer to the Rossoneri.

New Diavoli boss Massimilano Allegri does not want to deprive himself of the 25-year-old, and wishes to bring him to via Turati, according to Milannews.it. Lazzari has also been a target of the Italian giants for several seasons.

A player-plus-cash exchange deal may be put on the table for the attacking midfielder, with central defender Elia Legati set to be offered to the Isolani.

Pierpaolo Bisoli - who has taken over from Allegri at the Rossoblu - is said to be keen on the stopper.

NObody is saying Dzeko is under-rated. But transfer fees and wages aside, if Ibra, Fabinao, Torres, Dzeko and Robinho are available and all of them want to come to Milan, but Milan can only sign one of them.
I think Dzeko will probably be the last from the list to play in Milan. Not b/c he is not from a football powerhouse country, it is mainly b/c he is not as good as guys like Torres, Ibra, Robinho and Fabinao.

As for Torres getting injured all the time, have you watch Pool over the last few seasons, the way Torres was used game in and game out, anyone would have got injured.

I guess it is just different opinions then. Out of the list, I like Dzeko the most and I do believe that he will be the most useful for Milan.

Point I am trying to make is that if all are free and will cost MIlan the same amount of money. I think most will choose Ibra or Torres or Fabinao, as they will help MIlan right away and less risk.

People want Fabiano who's 29 (all most 30) while Dzeko is like 23 (?) and the top scorer of the Bundesliga. I don't think the fact that he's from Germany makes a difference. I think players from the Bundgesliga are the safest, Diego messing up in Juventus is not because of him. The entire Juve squad decided to go and be terrible.

people talk about Fabiano because it is almost realistic , Dzeko is not realistic too much money.

Actually, with Ibra and his "big games" thing, Torres with his injuries and Fabiano with his age, I believe you are not correct.

President Silvio Berlusconi has told Milan a top class player may arrive this summer, and the finger is being pointed at Barcelona ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

CEO Adriano Galliani rejected the idea on Tuesday when he made it clear Ibrahimovic was an "impossible" target, claiming Luis Fabiano was an easier, economically viable option.

However, Berlusconi has said he is not afraid to dig deep and provide the funds for an affluent transfer.

"Milan will return to be great and a winning side and they will do this soon," Berlusconi told Oggi magazine.

"Despite the period of crisis, if there is a chance to sign a big champion then I will not hold back, the Italians would understand the sacrifice."

Berlusconi's words have led Tuttosport to report Milan will ignite a move for Ibrahimovic.

Rather than pay his transfer fee all in one go, agent Mino Raiola is said to be working on an installment deal in which Milan would pay Barcelona €18 million each year over a three-year period.

The alternative still remains Luis Fabiano, who opened the door to Milan when reports claimed he told friends he wanted to go there.

Galliani responded and said he "hoped" Fabiano would join his club. That speech was met with enthusiasm by the player's agent, who said a deal was "a possible solution".

Didn't Galliani always say that Luis Fabiano is a world class striker ? So this striker could be Luis Fabiano, why trying to give other names ?

Anyway, Luis Fabiano + Ibrahimovic in Milan, joining Borriello and Pato, it could be a devastating attack, couldn't it ?! Just thinking ... won't happen !!

Well, the World Class striker could actually be Raul or RVN.

Hi guys, been out for days and just logged in now. Hmm.. turning back the last 3-4 pages of this mercato thread it seems that the only thing left unsaid is Torres' and Dzeko's favorite meal for dinner.


I just hope that doesn't give the newest member of our happy little family idea to open up yet another threads in lounge section because I still haven't quite made up my mind whether vanilla or chocolate is my favorite ice cream flavor.

Honestly, I really don't see the buzz about this, as it is in GK. To me, GK is the least of Milan problems over the past few seasons, despite Dida being Dida.
