No, I don't either. I know he supposedly played well at the U20's recently but I haven't seen him.

Apparently he'll come in January, which means that we'll spend our non-eu spot on him.

He's a second striker, small and fast, who aparently can play on the wing in a 4-3-3 as well, so he'll be an alternative to Dinho, or could push Pato up as a striker. Question is how good he is. He was named the best played in the U 20 WC, I guess that's something, considering the two previous winners, Messi and Aguero, weird thing is that he's not even playing for his norweigan club, but perhaps there's a different reason for that? Perhaos someone has seen him in the U20 tournamnet and could comment.

About the Ghanian U20 player - we will use the non eu spot AGAIN on a player that is not one that can help us immediately!!! This man is a project and will need time and for sure will not make an instant impact. I've heard he is a sub in his club. No?

Im sure Leo also had something to say about this young player. We'll see, Im not that familliar about him and his qualities but Im dissapointed Milan didnt decide to go for players like Hernanes ( to play in front of Pirlo-Flamini !! ), Giuliano, Diogo ( LB - that showed he could be a GREAT player for the future with a bit of strict training ), Douglas Costa ( If we need a player for wing!) etc.

But those players cost money, and we AGAIN dont want to spend.

If we are only ging to sign young and unproven players our future is NOT bright. That is a road for Arsenal, not AC Milan!

You want young players Galliani? Clichy, Fabregas, Giuliano, Gourcuff, Criscito...here you go, fix the team with those.

Im not happy with this. Lets hope I will be wrong.

I'm pretty sure he will make no impact for Milan this season. Probably he will be loaned out. I find it impossible to believe that this player can break into our team already now.

I don't know any reasons why he doesn't play for Fredrikstad. Apparently he's got a bad touch and haven't impressed in training and the norwegian club was about to give up on him...

Kaka was called for 2002 world cup. he was someone who was expected to hit big and he broke through. (first training session, ancelotti said he just trained a champion)

Pato he got all the hype in the world and he was expected to score 30 goal

Pirlo it was not ancelotti, maybe bresica

Gattuso, what are you talking about gattuso can't even pass the ball. aside from his defensive ability and determination i cant see gattuso as a midfielder.

cant we just let him play on our U-21 team the rest of the season? then he can learn Italian, get some training with our players, and get used to Milan. then we can decide if he should be loaned or not. We dont know what issues (politics, racism, etc) that are keeping him from playing now, if by some miracle he plays extremely well with our youngsters we can call him up later in the year

So what does it mean when one says 'he developed the player'? By your words, every player is the result of his own effort and the trainer is merely a guide. I don't see how Wenger's actions are any different.

Gourcuff is only 23 now, and Gila was 23 when he got here. so we didnt give a 21 year old a chance. Ppl say he didnt have the mentality to play at Milan, but could it just be that at 21 his skills werent fully developed? he could have been the perfect replacement for Seedorf.

when you loan a player out it should be for them to improve. by adding the 15 mil buyout clause, that was not the case. if he had played poorly they would not have wanted to keep him, and if he played well enough to return to Milan, they would spend the money. And the fact that our managment never checked in on him made him feel unwanted. I hope we can find a way to get him back, even if it cost 20/25 mil

Of course we didn't want him back. Berlusconi wanted the spot saved for Ronaldinho, who is taking a monster of a paycheck for being Berlusconi's man crush. That buyout clause was put into the contract for a reason and that reason was that we could get some cash for him while having the excuse of "there was nothing we could do, they exercised the option!"
