Yeah, it was a good win over Everton. Made them look quite poor. And Rooney handled the Scouse monkeys fairly well.
Ronaldo was very good too. Always looking to play the early cross in rather than dancing with the defenders.

About the Milan match; I know for sure that Milan will go to Old Trafford to shut shop and get a few away goals. So they certainly will be looking to play on the break.

United's central defence will have to hold up well. Conceding away goals would prove to be very costly in a tight fixture like this.

Milan have got to play Stam as he will give them a great advantage on set pieces considering United's defence is quite suspect when it comes to defending from set pieces.

Well... MUFC is strong in wings... and Milan - in centre... Sheva is out... so almost a bit less than a half of Milan's attacking power is gone... but there is Crespo left... he can do trouble... Kaka is always agile and untiring but he struggles to score... JDT also is very trappy... he may not score for some time but then he come and send a goal into the net... especially when for Milan side play such a great passer-assister as Rui Costa. Seedorf and Serginho aslo are quite dangerous and the last one prooved that yesterday... so it would be tough... though I give 65% to 35% MUFC to win

'Ski out of the F.A. Cup

Quadruple down the crapper and a cheap 'Pewl-style treble on (we know that is worthless).

If only for bringing their battle with Fergie into the workings of our club. If they were real fans, they would have told Glazer that they won't be selling at all, and we wouldn't be having all this drama.
hey i realise you didnt mean the use of Irish as a verb as a degoratory remark. apology accepted.

i dont think they will sell to glazer by the way

Their in big trouble for the Barca game, Robben and Drogba out and Duff unlikely, also the only position they dont have proper cover for is Bridge at left back and he is out for the season now, usually Gallas could cover but he is injured too I did think they would beat Barca but now.......

Now I wouldn't normally care whatever happens to Chelski, but hey, anything that can throw their confidence off track will do. Hope they get a real hiding in Spain!

I hope this will ruin their momentum in the league but it's very unlikely.
Two different competitions

The least we can hope for, anyway. Happened to them ponces from London. Bolton and Liverpool are hardly comparable to us, but they did build on the thrashing we dished out.

Didn't watch the match. But heard that United gave Milan too much space in the first half.

One leg still to go though.
And if there are any eternal optimists in this world, they are all United fans.

United didn't give Milan too much space. They were outclassed in midfield. Milan controlled the game and got the result that not many were expecting. I always had faith in the away win. It was one of our most dominating performances and one of the most memorable one. Power-packed Milan.

I think Pirlo was allowed the ball a lot, it seemed tactical that they let Pirlo have it but not Kaka and it almost worked for Utd. Pirlo was given as much time as he wanted on the half way line because his favoured chip-pass cant threaten Utd from there, Brown and Rio are both fast and good in the air so he would have to get it perfect. When Pirlo came past the half way line they let him come forward but didnt close in the wide midfielders to narrow the space available which tells me they were setting it up for a break. It could (and should) have worked on the chance that Fortune missed which was an absolute text book counter attack until the finish

I had predicted 1 - 1 and Utd to go out in Milan but after 75 minutes i was confident enough to say if it stays 0 - 0 then Utd will go through, then......

Looks like the summer transfer budget will going on a goalkeeper

yeah its not over yet, if Ruud can get his match fitness back then he will be able to take on Maldini and Nesta leaving a bit of room for Rooney to work some magic

Milan have a tough choice to make over whether to protect what they have or to go try and kill Utd off :undecided:
