I meant first hand by a team official on TV, but as the club owner owns the TV station, I guess it is good enough

My Italian is pretty ropey

But I think it basically says..

Gilardino is practically a Milan player. After a long negoitation, Milan and Parma agreed a deal on Friday morning, with the official announcement days away. 28 mil. is actually a loooot of money , but gila will score 28 goals for season so it preety good deal

Finnaly we have what we really needed, a real partner for sheva and kaka- sheva-gila triangle can start demolishing defences!! Bravo Galliani and thanx Silvio!!!!

Although I agree with everything you said, I still think we should wait for the official news before thanking everyone!

What it says is that Milan and Parma have reached an agreement for 28 mil euros. 26 of this will go to Parma and the other 2 mil goes to Gila as a "bonus". This bonus was a special clause in his contract with Parma stating that should Parma sell Gila for a price of 20 mil euros or above, the player will receive 2 mil of the whole amount.
Basically this means that Milan have bought Gila for 28 mil euros which is still 2 mil below Parma's latest asking price of 30 mil euros.

yes they do. There was a clause in Gila's contract which stated that if he was to go for a price over 20 million the player would receive 2 million.

So Milan paid 28 in total and 26 went to Parma.
