exactly. I always smile when I hear those interwiews from young players: " I like Real and Barca, and especially I was a fan of Inter, Milan and Juve..."

Or when some player signt an ilegal pre-contract then his wish becomes : " My dream is to play with Del Piero..." from a young DUCH player. Or Gila in Parma: It would be great to play with Sheva or Del Piero...

he does love Milan but he also flirts with others Benzema and Berbatov are really amazing players but they or any striker for that matter aren't going to make any difference unless new players are, (or a new system is), introduced. take the example from Inter-Milan game, Pippo was making lots of runs, getting in the right places, and even avoiding the linesmans flag , yet we never looked like scoring from open play. All the time it was a mixture of poor passes through the middle that were easily intercepted, and nothing coming from wide areas at all, and thats Pippo who even from scraps can dine on goals! For me its really not the strikers that are the priority, just look at the few and fewer occassions where the midfield is cohessive/given a free reign by the opposition, Pippo , Ronnie or even Gila bang them in. Give them the service and they can score goals
but again.. getting Berbatov or Benzema wouldn't be a crime though

So if Ronaldo is his idol and we get rid of him, does that mean Benzema won't want to come here?

Hopefully Galliani/Braida will be alerted by Vargas' recent comments about moving on in the summer. He'd be a good addition to our squad ... and a cheap one too

well, he can't say "Milan is the only team for me"...

What if he ends up in Real, the statement will haunt him...

I'm sure he wouldn't mind leaving and maybe even wants to leave. but players always have a certain loyalty the club that they are playing for and in most cases want to make sure that their club gets compensated adequately (and then some) for there departure.

Offer 7.5 Million & go as high as 8.5 that should be enough. I really hope we can ge this guy.

Kaka Doesn’t Want Ronaldinho At Milan - Report Kaka has told Milan that he is vehemently against the signing of Ronaldinho from Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.

I think Drogba is needed more than Benezma, but a forward line of Pato, Drogba, Gila, Inzaghi & Benezma would be great for next season. Unlikely, but great.

Looks like we're signing nobody this winter market... this thread already has 11,000 post, and there's nothing concrete on any rumours...

I disagree and agree lol. I agree in that simply sticking Benzema or Berbatov in the striker slot in our side isn't going to help, but these players could be interesting if purchased. Both can play off of a front man (Berbatov moreso) and so will add supply to the front man, and that would considerably improve our attacking options as our striker wouldn't get isolated, which has often been the case this season.

This would be similar to what happened last season when Ronaldo was brought in. However, when all's said, with Pato and Ronaldo now coming in for the second season, Benzema or Berbatov may not really be needed right now.

Instead, I still think this transfer window (if there are still doubts on Ronaldo) we should aim to get a big target man up front, another option we're lacking right now.
