For real, has he forgotten that the World Cup is 8 days away? This crap is starting to piss me off, he better get his ass to the Ukraine National Team. The way Ukraine played vs. Costa Rica w/o him AND Rebrov proves that the Ukrainians are more than just a one-man squad. He deserves to be on the bench, all he wants to now is go to London.

I have not seen any reports yet, but I believe Shevchenko headed to
Switzerland to join his NT yesterday or early today.
Rebrov is nursing a micro injury, Blokih said he should be fine soon.

Ukraine-21 better lose in semifinals today, since they (3 or 4 of them including a good striker Milevksy) are needed well rested in Germany for the NT.

Well' it's good he's fnally joining the sqaud.

Its 0-0 at halftime in the Ukraine-Serbia match. It doesn't say why but Milevsky was subbed off in the 17th minute

The picture is from yesterday, posted today in Chelsea's website... remember Sheva is coming back from an injury, so he will not be exposed in a friendly... his presentation with Chelsea has been postponed for after the WC because he had to join his national team training...

Thanks, that is what I hoped it was. However, I see nothing yet about his arrival to the team's training location. They have a big practice game tomorrow :-) A friendly vs. Italy!

I cannot understand who came up with an idea to have Euro Cup-under 21 to be held just days before the WC.

It is baaaad. Especially bad if young ukrainian players who are on the WC roster go into OT or even worse if they advance to the final.
