yeah it would suck to lose Sheva now. But really, why is Inzaghi on the bench and not Gilardino? I can't imagine that Pippo is fit to play 45 minutes in the Champions League yet, and injuries do happen, so why take that chance?

The more I see of Carlo in Milan, is the more I realise how unenviable a position he has:

Dont get me wrong, who wouldnt want to Manage a top team like Milan? But when you are not given much say in who comes via transfers into the team.(He couldnt have had much to do with Vieri´s arrival, and if he did, he loses ALL the "cool points" he got for looking so sharp in his Armani coat last term)

You have to feel for Carlo...I am sure he would have preferred to field Sheva and Gila, but he must be under some amount of pressure to play, and I wont hesitate to say it: Eeeeeeediat Vieri, with a F****** capital E.

I mean, you are paying this man, somewhere in the region of 60K per month (I use pounds) for him to miss sitter after sitter, and then you have to come out in a press confrence and say things like: "he will score soon, the reason he hasnt is bad luck" or some similar drivel. How he can say this with a straight face is beyond me, I wonder if he ever thinks about entering the World Champions of Poker tournament? With a face like his, he would win with a 4 of clubs, a 3 of diamonds, a Jack of spades, and a Joker!

Hopefully Sheva´s injury isnt serious, as with Mr I. Miss-Sitters aka the team eeeeediat, we are certain not to score many goals.

Pippo will take some time to be completely match fit, and if he lasts more than 2 games without another knock, then maybe he can forge a useful partnership with Gila, or even eeeediat Vieri....as long as he scores, and we win, I will be a happy man.

Please Vieri, score in this game, if only to shut me up, and demand some respect from me. Ok, thats all the angst for now, hopefully I will be eating my words, after the game...and singing Vieri´s praises.....and then I woke up...
