Hmm, and Warro,
Barcelona is very close to Zambrotta. Today Juve officials had talks with Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid officials, and Thuram+Zambrotta deal in Barcelona is almost done, while Chelsea's and Real offers being rejected !!

i don't understand how one day Zambrotta & Buffon can be set for moves to Milan ... and then almost 24 hours later they decide to stay put or go to Spain, contradicting all that has gone before it.
oh well, looks like we won't have either of them ...

I find it a little fishy that soccernet and other sites have reported Buffon's news.. cannavaro + emerson's news.. but not the Zambrotta/Thuram story. Let's wait and see tomorrow.

According to Belgian media(they are always right) Barcelona is going to introduce Zambrotta and Thuram as their new players to the media in a couple of days.
And Buffon will stay with Juventus. He will reject any offer he receives from any club.   ... |

You know what, this is one of the residual effects of Calciopoli. I'm now convinced the stench of this has killed our chances of getting any impact players out there.
I'm afraid we may have to go with an old tune this coming season. Yup, the Cafu-Nesta-Maldini-Kaladze back four. Are we not getting any new quality signings because we're not in the CL or because Calciopoli has stigmatized us permanently? Who knows, but I'm just hoping our good name and rich history don't go slowly down the drain.
