If they dont say anything its probable they will just give him on loan for a season, and if he does well, theyll bring him back for next season....
nothing out of normal
I mean why? Is it his age or is it that he sucks? If it's his age, I dont think it's a big issue. Real presented Marcelo, Gago, and Higuain officially and they are all young and are expected to make some impact in the first team. As for Grimi, if he is indeed "Milan material" then why not present him properly? If he is not Milan material, then why on earth did we sign him? To help our youth team win trophies?

I meant that a presentation would never had been possible because he was baught to give on loan to another team.
Grimi right now in my opinion is not fit to play in Milan.
Maybe if he gets some Calcio experience he might become a player for Milan, and if he doesnt, just come back to Argentina to continue his career in a medium class club like happens with many.

In his case this wouldnt be a failure, because as i said earlier, he wasnt expected to be anything special and he is not a great talent.

And im not being missrespectfull, because i think that even him must be surprised about this.

Grimi shines in Milan debut Tuesday 9 January, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New signing Leandro Grimi impressed in Milan’s 5-0 friendly victory in Malta, while Pippo Inzaghi bagged a brace.

The Rossoneri hope to rediscover their form in this winter training jaunt in the warmth of the island and have shown signs of recovery.

Maltese champions Birkirkara were thrashed at the Ta Quali stadium in La Valletta in a test ahead of Thuesday’s Coppa Italia quarter-finals against Arezzo.

Ricardo Oliveira opened the scoring on Andrea Pirlo’s assist, followed after the break by Clarence Seedorf, long-term injury casualty Giuseppe Favalli and two from Inzaghi.

All eyes were on January signing Grimi and the Argentine performed well when he came on for the second half.

He was focused and eager to impress, but it looks as if the South American will need several weeks before he can be match fit and ready for a Serie A debut.

The 21-year-old left-back was playing his first game in a Milan jersey since his switch from Racing Club was completed

And here's some more from the official site.

Quote:
Leandro Grimi has started his Milan career when the full-back came on at the start of the second half in the friendly against Birkirkara in Malta on Tuesday evening. The 21-year-old Argentine could not hide his delight and said: 'It's very exciting to play in the Milan shirt.' The first 45 minutes for the Rossoneri may not have been against the toughest opposition, but it is the starting point and the youngster showed he has the potential.

Grimi came on at left-back and then moved over to the centre of defence after around 20 minutes. The San Lorenzo-born player looked comfortable in this position and hit a number of long passes for Aubameyang, with one of them resulting in Pippo Inzaghi getting on the end of a knock-down to score his second goal. He revealed that he bases his game on Paolo Maldini's although the two have yet to play alongside each other as the captain only played the first half.

Dario Simic has been impressed with Grimi even after only two days of training and he said: 'Leandro has settled in well, it seems as if he is used to it already.' Already voted the best young player in the opening part of the Argentine league, Grimi will offer Carlo Ancelotti plenty of options in defence although the coach maintains that the player needs at least a month to settle into the squad. However, after that we will be hearing a lot more about young Leandro.

I think the official announcement about this transfer won't be made until he gets the EU passport but I guess this is only a technicality.

It's early to judge him now, we have to wait AT LEAST until the end of this season to see how good he is, assuming he gets enough chances to make an impact

Thinking that Milan wants Marek to be our 1st LB, and that Serginho will stay for next year also. Favalli will clearly leave us in the end of this season. He is pretty old, I dont know how much but not less than 35, and he has been injured a lot.
So far, from people that saw Grimi, I heard that he is not exactly Milan material player, so maybe he will only be a backup for Jankulovski-Serginho for next season.

Finally, we hear something on the official site. That's all I wanted, at least acknowledge the guy, otherwise what's the point? But I think Milanista is right, I get the sense that the transfer is not "officially" completed yet, so maybe we'll hear more. But I do want to see what this kid can do though. Not in friendlies, but in serie a or coppa italia games. We should give him a chance and at least we'll get to see how good our scouts really are

It seems his transfer hasn't been cleared yet, but I assume that shouldn't take too long now.
