it was a very close situation but the ref made the right call as Kuyt was a step behind the defense.

Ah , yes, i thought about asking if it was offside or not, and i forgot. Thanx for reminding me.

If it's like in NBA , if only the position of the legs counts, then it wasn't offside. But if every part of the body counts, then it was offside because Kuys was offside with his head.

What counts for FIFA ?

Well i've supported Liverpool for about 20 years now ... and Milan for about 16 years ... and the only time they've ever met was THAT time 2 years ago.

If they were to meet again i think i'd want Milan to win, just so that it would be 1 win each and a great victory for an otherwise disastourous season.

You're right it would be a win-win if Milan got there aswell, but then it would be a lose-lose also.

But FIFA also says that questionable episodes should be ruled in favor of the attacking team.

In the previousl PL game he was substituted and Chelsea still couldn't win.
This game Mourinho didn't let him play, I am sure the injury wasn't all that bad, and Chelsea looses..
