Take Brocchi out; he is just... not good.
I can see how Benfica plays: press in the midfield and hope that Milan lost possession. So far, so good; but can they keep up the stamina? I don't think so.

Expect a goal in the second half, from kaka`, Gila, R99, or Gourcuff (if the latter two is subbed in).

what a goal by Benfica. They deserve it in the first half. A 1-1 is a fair result.

We are giving away far too many chances. We aren't controlling the ball either, Benfica are moving the ball where they want to at will.

Kaka went on a couple of what started out to be inspired runs, but he isn't able to beat his man, the one time he did his shot was blocked.

Pirlo had a chance to shoot it again but passed it off to KAKA...whyyyy....you have the hot foot man!!!

Although Saturday's game against Juve is more important, I'd like to win here and lock up first over all.

Put Ronaldo in!!!

Forza Milan

Im afraid I dont agree with you Jeff. Benfica deserve the lead, they been pressuring us and outplaying us all throughout the half and they have been forcing us to make mistakes. I counted quite a few giveaways in the defence/midfield link-up (particularly Rino).

Serginho is having a bad day on the left side too. Gila isn't doing bad but I dont think he can handle all these whistles towards him, maybe R99 should come in..

Nesta is doing great...

Gila missed couple of chances , he needs backup in attack..
Kaka is just out of form so is Seedorf..
Brocchi... well he sux nothing to add
Gattuso? wtf has happened to him..
Sergio should be subbed as he already made an ok amount of mistakes..
Bonera seems to be better than Oddo on RB, dunno if its me tho:P
Kaladze should stay

Maybe; but Milan is not defending bad either; yes, I agree with you that Milan was pressed to make a lot of mistakes in the midfield, but don't forget that this is done in the expense of the physical energy of the Benfica player. Can they keep up the high tempo throughout the game? Milan is playing it slow; uncharacteristically slow, partially because there is no urgency in winning this match at all. But, as we will see, Milan is going to scratch through the game here.

Agreed...the Benfica strike was first class, Pirlo's was a beauty as well. If Benfica had taken all their chances they could be ahead by a score of 3 - 1.

It would have been a better idea to start the game at a high tempo and have it won by HT. Then take off key players ahead of the Juve game. Instead ti looks like the players will have have to fight until the last minute yet again.

Juve will win in the San Siro.

nesta almost gave benfica the lead after a very bad pass + a couple of clumsy challenges, not his best performance...kala and bonera have been doing well so far, I'm not sure if seedorf or sergino are even playing?? specially sergino...kaka and gila have done pretty average so far...

ACMILAN1983 will become famous soon enough
we started well, scored the goal and were ok for a short while after but then we've just dropped deeper and deeper and are looking like we want to get a result (draw or more) with the least effort required.

Sergio's having a shocker, let's hope for improvement in the second half.

Maldini on I think
