I am not very intrested in calling back Boriello, he is miles behined Gila IMO, I think if we are going to sign a new striker then Drogba, Benzema and Amauri will be our possible targets with a slight advantage for Amauri over both Drogba and Benzema for financial reasons as both Drogba and Benzema will cost 30+ M.

Our back line also needs reinforcements, and if it was up to me I would sign: Zambrotta for the LB position as he is Italian so won't take time to adapt to Seria A and his abilities which make hi the best fullback in the world in my opinion.
Alves for the RB, the guy is young, fast, Brazilian, can play as a RM if needed, good free kick taker and proven in higher levels he has to work on his defensive skills though.
Any one of Zapata/Kompany or Barzgli to be our only new CB plus giving more play time to (#5) in the youth team, I am not sure if he is Darmian or somebody else.
A new GK however I must say that I don't know whom should we go for.
A new young Midfielder probably Montilivo and we are done.

But, to make it clear our management would never do this , they will only sign one or two new players maximum so I am not going to dream that they will suddenly decide to spend like crazy so I hope they really now what they are doing.

AC Milan is among the leaders in the world in spending on sponsoring young players and trainers. So the talks about 2010 plan or 2011 or something else is normal staff. Not ultimate strategy.
If you analyze transfer policy you will see that we are buying experienced players. With few fantastic exceptions :-)
On the other hand, to gain experience we loan youngsters.

Signing Ferrari follow the politics of implementing experienced players. He is 28 but with lot of experience. Probably management think that with different training he can enter our team. And I am on the same line.

Returning of Boriello is expected, his form is going up, he scored so far 8 goals (same as Mutu and Amauri, more than Ibrahimovic - in the liga, not counting penalties).

But there is but :-)
Maximum number of forwards is four in our team. Pato is one of them, for sure. Nobody talks about Inzaghi, so he is in, too. If Paloschi continues his run of form, he is in.
To find place Ronaldo and Gila should go. Ronaldo will retire or go back to Brasil. Gila will ask for transfer on his own because it's the right thing for him in the moment. The empty place will be filled with experienced player - by default, and probably it would be Drogba. So another year for Boriello on loan. Until Inzaghi retires :-)

Lets call a spade a spade here, Ferrari has been awful for a few seasons now. He was average at best the season before he went to Everton, disappointing at Everton and now can't get in the Roma side. Maybe someone can tell me why we should get him?

Regarding Boriello, has he really improved? Anyone can look good on YouTube, even me!

It must be an exciting time to be a Juve supporter Tony, especially if you sign Hamsik, Aguero, Vargas & Amauri (according to the less than reliable Tuttosport)! I know it's papertalk, but i wouldn't be surprised to see you sign all 4 of them. It's sickening to see your team with so much ambition!

I don't follow all Seria A games, but from what I have seen the answer is no he did not at all, and like what you said any one can impres on you tupe as it just pick the right moves and kick the wrong ones, he is average and will always be so, theone that really impresses at the moment is Cassano he was immense in the last few games.

AC Milan's Gourcuff eyeing France return
tribalfootball.com - February 13, 2008

Yoann Gourcuff is unsettled at AC Milan.

It's emerged that Gourcuff has discussed leaving Milan with club officials in recent days.

Milan haven't responded to the speculation, which has PSG and AS Monaco angling for talks over taking Gourcuff back to France in the summer.

And it's even more sickening watching the amateurs in Juve's board talking about the potential transfers of Diego, van der Vaart, Hamsik and buy Stendardo and Sissoko at the end.
They always buy the plan C or plan D player. They never manage to get the first option player, not even option B.

He will not return to our team to play but will be sold. The more goals he score mean the more money we can get for him. That's all.

Ferrari is free, he is good for 4th DC, he and Bonera formed a good DC pair for Parma (only lost to Maldini&Nesta and Thuram&Canna). They can unite again.

Borriello has the ability but he failed to expose. If Ronaldo retire, Pippo has the habit of being injured and ineffective in Serie A, he could be a good choice. We need player can sit on the bench and eagerly waiting for his chance to come. I value his will to play for Milan.

Both Ferrari and Boriello can not satisfy our transfer strategy However, we are not Real or Chelsea. Maybe Borriello or no striker at all, Ferrari or waiting for Digao and Darmian (take a risk), and save the money for a really good one (GK, other fullback than Zambrotta, a good CM).

Actually

I like Zapata or Barzagli for DC.

Zambrotta and another fullback. Alves is too expensive. Zarcardo or Vargas can do the job.

For Striker, though Benzema is young and has a great talent, I do not like his character. He want to leave his club so early (A CL and French champion club), is he an ambitious one or just greedy and almost no loyalty at all?
Amauri has the abilities we need, so does Drogba. But I like the Ivory Coast origin more, because of his desire to play for Milan (or Barca, is OK). Amauri look like a mercenary.

We have 5 best midfielders (except wingers) in the world: Kaka, Seedorf, Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini. What we need is only a good sub. Hamsik, maybe.

Frey seem to be our bets choice for GK, but I think we shouldn't make him a definitely move.

So, next season, at least:
Zambrotta (a must), Ferrari, Gourcuff stay, Ronaldo get fit and stay or Borriello.

Better: pouring money on Frey or other fullback.

Best:
Zambrotta and Vagas/Zarcardo, Barzagli/Zapata, Hamsik, Drogba, Frey.

(trying to be humble )

I don't think drogba has anything to do with that list
instead of spending a tone of money for him and watch him running like a mad cow for 90 min better promote Paloschi

I know, but Drogba is not just a mad cow And I donn't think our Gallani will spend much money for him (maybe only for about 10M). However, we'll really need him if Ronie&Pippo continue like this. Paloschi needs time.

For the moment we have Pato, Gila, Paloschi, Pippo(always ready when we need him) and Ronaldo(this is probably his last season with Milan)
and another 3 or 4 strikers loaned to other teams

We need a striker(a good one - Ronaldinho/Eto/Benzema) but not Drogba (i red that chelsea wants 30 mil for him)

But Ronaldinho/Eto/Benzema cost even more than Drogba. I chose Drogba because he is the easiest to get. Ronal cost a lot and I wonder his contribute for Milan (If he come). Eto is too hard to get and he seem to be injury-prone. Benzema is young and it is abit early to judge, we have two young prodigy now: Pa&Pa, so a player with experience is preferable. Drogba is now at his best, he can be our new Weah.

But lets wait for the end of this season to see. Maybe we'll find a better solution

I would definitely go for Ronaldinho, I don't like him all that much and he would come expensive, however I am confident that he would be very helpful.
I would consider Drogba, but not the other ones.
If we could a get Sergio Ramos though, I would call it a successful summer transfer season

well with ronaldo now done...i would hope milan make a seriuos offer for benzema before Man U or Real do..i have a feeling gila will leave no matter how much the bald guy says about having faith in him...benzema will be an amazing and useful purchase..he traditionly plays a CF with Ben Harfa on the left wing and juninho on the right wing...that could easily work in our with seedorf and kaka behind him or him and pato up front with kaka behind them...some facts about him..16 goals in 24 matches..3rd on the list for assists behind juninho and ben harfa..and 3rd for most minutes played (not an injury prone) ..drobga would also be a good choice he plays similarly like benzema in the middle with the support of maluda on the left and cole on the right but we should be looking ahead for the future and use this summer as a rebuilding proccess

Thanks for the info. And I agree, that team is not nearly good enough to make us one of the top teams in the world. At least 3 or 4 superstars are needed for that team to be on top of the world again.
