Seedorf really played good yesterday. And to be honest, Dinho doesn't even deserve to start. When he came on yesterday, he just walked, he didn't even run. He should be busting his ass of, but instead he's just walking around like he's some kind of king. **** him with that kind of attitude. A rather watch Seedorf everyday of the week...

I just watched the game again and to be honest, Seedorf did not track back as much as what you guys were saying.

The other thing is that don't let the cheers fool you when he got off the field, those cheers were for R80. I think R80 coming in for Seedorf was a great move by Carlo, as he knows the fans can't boo Seedorf as they will be cheering for R80.

On the topic of R80, he did not have motivation last night, but you can't really blame him as the game was already over with a 3-0 scoreline and Palermo playing with 10 men.

is it five or four games ahead guys
Five mate, and we still have to face Catania, Juve, Uden, Roma and Viola while Inter will face some weak teams like Lazio(in Milano), Chivo(away), Siena(Milano), Calgari(away) and Atalanta (Milano).
So we have almost 0 chance in winning Scudetto.

First Seedorf was not really good yesterday, he was just not bad no more than that and a ''not bad'' doesn't deserve to be a starter every week for a club like Milan.
Second about the walking Dinho part, what are you expecting from him? He is not stupid and he can see that he will not play so long as Seedorf is fit no matter how bad was seedorf, he came on while the game was already finished, so its normal to see him unmotivated after all he is human not a God.
Last I don't know what do the stars in your post mean but if it was a f word, I'd rather not comment on it, because the only available comment will be with another f word and so on.

I think we played this formation yesterday:

----------Pippo-----------
------Max------Kaka------
---See----Pirlo-----Beck--

Max was dynamic, he covered even Seedorf part.

Less spectacular than the previous game, but overall I'm quite satisfied with our performance

We played a great game imo. We controlled things very well and we looked like a good unit rather than a tactical mess which we've had to put up with for half of the season.

The first half started even, it was end to end and both sides were quite open, but we soon started controlling the game, pressed Palermo superbly and became tighter at the back. Ambro's runs into the box were superb and it shows the effect players running up from deep can have in opening up opponents. The penalty was soft, but I don't think the defender made contact with the ball. Pippo's goal was excellent, with great passing (Kaka's pass was genius) and running. It was a good half display and we warranted the 2-0 lead.

The second half was all about control, from start to finish we maintained control of the match and stopped Palermo from playing, yet making chances ourselves. Kaka again was brilliant and on numerous occasions was fouled because defenders couldn't cope. The penalty again was soft.

Players...

Dida - Nothing to do
Flamini - This guy is excelling in RB. He runs a lot, he takes on defenders and defensively is very solid. If he improves his crossing he will be world class.
Maldini - Perfect defending.
Favalli - Great display, this guy deserves a LOT of credit this season for stepping up for us in a crisis.
Zambro - Great game, goes forward and defensively sound.
Beckham - A few weak passes, but was good on the whole.
Pirlo - An excellent game, was constantly finding space and making passes that opened up Palermo. Defensively on numerous occasions made very important challenges.
Ambro - I've been hard on him many times this season, and he deserved it. However, he was fantastic yesterday and his runs forward were a great weapon.
Seedorf - Average game, the weakest player in the side.
Kaka - This is the Kaka we all want to see. MOM.
Pippo - Did little but got his goal, nothing else to add.
Dinho - Was mostly playing around, but at 3-0 I can't blame him, most of the team was.
Sheva - Got to feel a little sorry for him, he didn't really get a chance to do anything with the players behind messing around.
Cardacio - Didn't get much time.

I will give credit to Carlo for the game yesterday. He played a very similar game to what I want to see next season. Tactically, he set up the team very well and it showed. We pressed, we worked hard, we moved as a unit.

Same with Ambro, this guy deserves huge plaudits for the game yesterday. If he could do it every game then he would be a starter for me.

Final note I will speak about Kjaer, as we're linked to him. He looks a decent defender, but I don't feel he's ready to play at Milan and really there are better options available. I would much MUCH rather we go all out to get Santacroce this summer.

Excuse me for re - digging the past, but I'd like to add a word and write my opinion about our last match. ;)

I woudn't write about how valuable three points we recieved, and I'd like to focus on game.

Well, Ancelotti played 4321 formation, with: Dida - Flamini, Maldini, Favalli, Zambrotta - Beckham, Pirlo, Ambrosini - Kaka, Seedorf - Inzaghi. Another game on the right side of the defensive line by Flamini and he did well another time. If I'm in Ancelotti's situation I will think about changing Frenchman's role for good. Fla is very active player and right back role is an option which can use this advantage in maximum. When he was playing as a central midfielder he wasn't running as much as now, because of midfielders individual orders. It wasn't required. After Carletto's speaking we know that he wouldn't sign Abate becaufe of fact that we don't use typical wing midfielders. So he isn't going to change Abate's role and it opens the door for Mathieu. ;)

Another issue is playing Seedorf instead of injured Pato. Many fans had wanted to see Ronaldinho in starting XI. To be hones, I had been one of them, but during the game it turned out to be a good decision to bench Dinho. The Dutch was more valuable to the team this match, because of his profile. We have to establish one thing - Palermo isn't a "cucumber team". The have dangerous offensive trio: Simplicio - Cavani - Miccoli, which we had to stop. Ronnie is completely passive in defending. He doesn't fight in tackling and doesn't go under rivals with pressing. I noticed that - in the moment when Palermo were playing the ball - our 2nd line wasn't 3 - 2, but it was 1 - 3 - 1 with Pirlo playing deep and close to the defensive line, duo: Becks - Ambro aided by Seedorf (they created trio: Becks - Zeed - Ambro) and with Kaka supporting Pippo. And we all must admit that it was excellent idea by Ancelotti. Zeed made a lot of hard work. He was positioning well, going with pressing, trying to tackle the ball. Ronnie isn't player who can work as hard for the team in defending. Despite Dutch's great attitude in defending, he had nothing to offer in ofensive. When Milan was attacking, he was becoming a shadow. He wasn't dangerous for Palermo. I've noticed one blocked shot and one inaccurate first - touch pass on the free area. In my opinion we should treat Zeed as a hard working player, but at this moment he can't manage create our game and he shouldn't be responsible for it.

Individual marks. Dida didn't have much work. He caught some balls, saved one easy heading by Migliaccio. I've written about Flamini. Zambrotta also did well. Centre duo: Maldini - Favalli didn't make mistakes. We played for "zero in back", and there were no individual mistakes. Pirlo did well. He wasn't given much freedom and was responsible for protecting defensive line, so he played very deep. Despite this fact he played two or three - typical for him - "corridors of uncertainty". Ambro was superb. Made a penalty, assisted in 2nd goal. Becks was weaker than his colleagues, he didn't play any "hollywood delivery". Maybe because of lack of Pato. ;> Kaka? He still isn't in his best form, but he played very well. At last he was confident. His influence on the rest of team is invaluable. Seedorf - I've written. Pippo played... like Pippo. :)

Forza!

The issue with R80 is that in Italy you need to be more disciplined than in Spain or PSG. I think that's what has been missing with R80...
