- Seedorf: replaced at the 50th (it's an early replacement for Carlo, and especially for Seedorf, second time in few weeks that happens)
- Pato and Inzaghi in attack from the start
- No DM coming on the pitch but only Shevchenko and Ronaldinho, two offensive players
- Pirlo seemed to play more freely
- Ancelotti made us playing with 3 strikers + 1 AM ... so he took risks
right ?
since few weeks ago, I ve been wondering if Carletto had been loggin on to this forum & now trying to fulfill what we wished for .. did you grant him a special login, mods? FORZA MILAN !

I've been seeing this everywhere, but it's actually only two games. We conceded last against Siena (5-1) three weeks ago.

When facing Lecce and needing to be more attacking, making a straight swap between Seedorf and Beckham isn't going to do the job and therefore it becomes pointless. Bringing in Dinho, who naturally plays higher up the pitch encourages a higher pressing game and so is a more natural choice given the circumstances.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not condemning Carlo's choices, I think they were correct, just that I don't think they were particularly brilliant, hence they were academic to me, but not particularly inspiring.

So when Ancelotti says he'd like him to have more continuity, I think he wants him to score more often, Pato has the skills to be the best scorer of Serie A, or at least to compete to be this best scorer, why isn't he ?
I disagree, in the first five or so weeks this season, Pato wasn't in a good state. It seemed at one point Dunga was close to ruining him during the Olympics and I think that carried into the season. On top of that we were still finding our structure and system, with Pato not playing frequently. Under these circumstances, it's difficult for him.

Then, during the part of the season where he was at his best, he was playing up front as the focal point of the attack with Kaka supporting him. During this period, he was averaging almost a goal a game, and he was doing wonders. However, with Kaka's and Seedorf's injuries, we've reverted to playing Pippo up front with Pato supporting. On top of that we're often sticking him on the wing. It's not really surprising he's struggling to score frequently in such a circumstance.

For me he's a striker, and should be used as such.

Thanks for clarifying Geo. For anyone who needs any further clarification. Look at the way Tevez is running his socks off for a contract at United. If carlo can make Ronaldhinio and Shevchenko hungry for the chance to stay at Milan next season then 3rd spot finish should be guaranteed.

About Shevchenko, he is not bigger than the club and I dont accept any of the soppy lame excuses he or his fans put forward. Why would I, I support Milan, not him and he left us for a team he thought would be more succesful.

About Pato, if he needs tiem to grow then Carlo needs the freedom to coach him without everyone jumping down his throat. Carlo's problem with young players isnt how he coaches them, its whether he plays them. Not many can complain about how Pato has been handled and if he gets a telling off fom time to time then fine. Leonardo's blasting at the beginning of the season seemd to work.

Nah...not really..Sheva is getting old..Sheva needs to go..Sheva isn't as good as he was before...We need another striker..I don't know why u guys really still want him back...We need another young striker...Dzeko...Dzeko is much better than him now and that's who we need!!! plus his tall which is an advantage for us, which Inter and Juve possess madly...

After being mired in mediocrity all season, one assist on Sunday and all of a sudden people are fawning over Sheva like he's suddenly vital to this team. I don't understand it.
