Edin Dzeko

So looks like Dzeko has not been given a chance so far to express his desires to his current club. Maybe because the Wolfsburg board memebers fear his repsonse.

I hope we sign Dzeko pretty soon by God's grace

No it's Sky Italia who's saying it. Goal.com is merely reporting it. Wolfsburg are just bluffing.

Now his agent says Milan can sign him. He told Telelombardia in an interview that he's available.

Seems that every day that goes past, this transfer keeps on getting more unlikely. Looks like the agent, and thus the player is willing, and Wolfsburg haven't completely closed the option. So it sounds to me that Milan is not putting enough effort into what should be the main target for our whole transfer activity this summer. Hope another club who is willing doesn't hijack these negotaitions....

Not really. Adebayor was heavily linked to Milan but we always made it clear our first choice target was Dinho. Dzeko, like Dinho, is our first choice target.

Whether we get him is another matter though.

We work in a way that we sign a player and then the player himself needs to blackmail the club and then we pay in the end. Gila, Dinho, Cissokho, Beckham ( payed himself ).

Jap Edin is a big Milanista, and he will come. IF he had the money like backham he would buy him self out. But I know he does not have that kind of money

I can't see how Dzeko can cost much more than £20 million. Torres was £26 million and the guy is nowhere near as good as him. I think his price should be more along the lines of Santa Cruz (£15-18 million), that would be a good deal for everyone involved.

To be honest, I think Wolfs might really want to keep him around to challenge for CL and I don't blame them one bit.
Thus, if Milan wants Dzeko, they must pay a fee where Wolfs feel they can use the money to strengthen the team, like 40mil.

Once the player firmly presents his desires and confronts the club directors, the transfer probability rises dramatically. Wolfsburg don't want to risk missing out on cashing in now, and having a disgruntled and out of form player next year.

It is not definite, but now we have something to smile about in regards to the transfer. It is now up to Galliani to keep the momentum rolling....
