In Marseille he was played out of position in CB (he's a DM) and he looked like very impresssive in that role.

Mbia: DM of Marseille, used as a CD (better in this position: he has had a starting place there whereas as a DM, he was one of the last choices of Deschamps). Solid CD but doesn't like this position, and he made it clear in medias in France instead of saying it directly to Deschamps.

The use of Mbia as a CD allowed Deschamps to use Heinze as a LB and put Taiwo on the bench.

So the guy would be useless here as a DM, and if we want him as a CD, he would potentially cause some problems. Not a potential Milan player as a consequence.

Not a potential Milan player as the money asked will be too much.

If we sell Hunter, then we should sign a mid, and show some trust to our youth forwards - Adiyah, Verdi, & Oudamedi.

A forward trio of Verdi, Pato, Oudamedi would be lightening quick

Honda was bought around 5-6M , what about fabio coentrao ? he is originally a left winger but is used as left fullback during this tournament( not sure if playing in the club), looks great going forward.. any comment on his defensive part?(as I didnt watch the whole portugal game.)

My feeling..

is that the economy is about 1 year away from a complete collapse..in Europe and the US

The breakup of the EuroZone is not only possible, it's most likely inevitable..

in this scenario, B&G are certainly part of the "Powers that Be" that would be privy to this information, hence, the reason why he refuses to spend money...

Think about it.. Milan have sold Sheva & Kaka for roughly €120 Million. Since then, we bought Huntelaar, T. Silva, and Ronaldinho, for roughly €35-40 million. Where has the other €80 Million gone?

Another thing, is that this Summer Mercato all depends on Allegri's formation. Also, will he have power, unlike Leo, or will B&G be calling the shots? If he is, and does a 4-4-2, where is the room for Ronaldinho, my feeling is that they will sell him for sure if they get €20 million, fearing they will never get that again. They will then use that money to buy Luis Fabiano, which is against what the Fans want. Obviously we all want Dzeko, even if he costs €30 Million...

Anyways I am overall pretty pessimistic and do not think Milan will make big changes.. nor will they buy a great player... They've made this obvious through their inaction of the past 3 seasons. They need at least:
1 LB/RB
1 MF
1 Striker

I think people are giving too much credits to B & G about the state of the team. They are going cheap route and has been doing that for quite sometime. 20 years ago, Milan only get the best of the best players in this world. Dutch Trio, Papin, De Sailley, Baggio, Weah, Boban.. Then they stopped and began investing in youth, which turned out those youth can only be WC while not playing for Milan-Davids, Kluivert, Veira, Ayala....Then they started to be cheap again but at the same time, they are willing to pay for qaulity players-Sheva, Pippo, Rui Costa, Kaka, Nesta and gamble on over older players-Stam, Cafu, Pancaro, Crespo... IT so happened that B & G stopped to spend on quality players that actually cost money over the past few years and all their gamble on mature players failed, except for Favalli. On top of that, they are unwilling to replace some of their players who are clearly not good enough to play top flight football anymore.

In the Portugal team, I really like watching this player. This WC is a great chance for him to find a bigger club. Of course he will have one, because untill now he always go on loan, return to Benfica is still a upward step
