I think that was more of a joke than something serious - no one in his right state of mind would think that Milan would let go of the best player in the world, who just turned 25, to get a 31 yo ex-best player, who may very well not be a welcoming sight for many of the fans and even some of the players at the San Siro.

I would prefer Eto'o than having Sheva back to Milan. Plus a defender besides Zambrotta.
Pato would be a good investment for the future.
