Sorry for speaking English here but its the only language i know fluently

I was just wondering what your opinions are of Nemanja Vidic? It seems Utd and Liverpool are both bidding for him and he is likely to join one of the other in January, for around £7m. Is he worth it?

ariel · 23-12-2005, 11:14

People here will call me biased if i say he is(even though i never supported any of serbian teams),but in all honesty i wouldn`t complain if we got him either. He is good at aerial play,he can jump and mark fast strikers well. His clearances are on a very high level of techincality and plus he is young. When i was watching Serbian national team playing last time,i was truly impressed by what i saw since he was by far the best one in the field,i couldn`t believe it myself.Good defender and worth bying.Of course ,here you`ll come across some totally different views in comparison to mine, however i hope i was helpful.
P.S. he can play both LB or CB but IMHO he is much better as a CB,somewhat of a Nesta type of a player,he is even of the same height as Sandro

Stezagud · 23-12-2005, 12:05

Thanks for the info

His versatility could be very useful to Utd as Heinze is out until next season and Silvestre seems to be getting worse as he approaches his peak years

at the moment Brown has taken over at CB and he is an excellent defender but very injury prone.....

I agree with Ariel, i was very impressed when i saw him play for the Serbia national team he's a complete defender so he's very good for Utd.
Biased? Come on who would say that he's a perfect defender for Milan i would like to see him here but...

Ja bi se zadovoljio s jednim izmedju Kupa prvaka i titule prvaka Serie A (ipak draze mi je ovo prvo)
