Just thinking. How many of you think we could draw or beat Inter now in the form we are in?

The thing is that, when against Inter, I actually believe the team played their hearts out but it just happened that Inter's main strength-Maicon is against Milan's biggest weak spot-LB.

Right now there is CSKA - Rubin, live on tv. So I will be scouting Krasic
2nd half is now to start. For now Im once again impressed by the obvious class of Dzagoev, aldough he hasnt actually palyed anything abnormally good. Dzagoev plays behing the CF, like Kaka' did with Pippo. Krasic plays strictly on the right side.So far Dzagoev, in 45min, has ran 7km, while the fastest player according to the stats was Krasic. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ People, what do you think about this theory/plan: If Leo does not trust Huntelaar and does not plan to play him, we might as well sell him and not wait for the "adaptation" ( that will not come if he doesnt play ). If Milan is ready to invest in some CF that will create the future of the team, then NOW the best thing is just to patch up untill the summer. From all the players that seem to be within the reach I would loan/buy/something Van Nistelrooy without second thought. Absolute class, and now is fit again. He wants to play, WC is coming etc. And in MAdrid the stars that were payed need to play, plus Raul. He is 4th striker! Second option is Toni... For sure its better to have Nistelrooy then a CF that is not trusted by a coach and will not be used.

This Krasic rumor is just a rumor his agent denies his transfer to milan since milan already signed adiyiah, but this means there are talks, his agent wont address milan directly as a transfer target unless something solid was going on.

We should get Kun Aguero or Zarrate to partner Pato, Kun scored two against Chelsea recently, it was the first time in the last 5 or so games that Chelsea conceded a goal, they have been winning by 4 to 5 goals every match, he also scored recently against Madrid. Him and Pato will be an unstoppable combo.

Aguero would cost at least 40M, Zarate would probably cost around 20-25M.
If we had money, I would take Zarate because this guy has something that most of the others don't have. Difficult to explain, but when you watch him, it looks like someone who is excellent at Fifa 20** is playing with Zarate to dribble everyone. And don't forget that he does that in Serie A ... just imagine what he could do in Spain for example. He shoud leave Lazio sooner or later because this team is nowhere near his talent, but Lazio won't sell him cheaply and so, as a consequence, I think that it's just a dream to think about him in Milan nowadays. |

A French player who was with him in Qatar and who now comments Europa League games on Canal Plus said that it was simply unbelievable how he changed between when he played in Qatar and now. He said that in Qatar, Zarate was unable to run more than 20 meters ... and now he is able to sprint from in front of his goal to the other goal with the ball !! I say that just to add that this young player (he is 22) still improves a lot ... |

I just finished watching the Inter - Roma game, good job to Roma for cutting Inter's lead by two points. But I wanted to highlight how this game really showed why I want Marco Motta at Milan.
He is a tireless runner, his crosses are accurate (his cross was the one for Roma's goal) and he even is able to really offer an attacking outlet on the overlap. He put Faty in a great space to have a free shot at goal, late in the game. He really shut down whoever came down his side. The other players I'd like to have from Roma as Mexes and Menez. Mexes was an absolute rock for Roma, he shut down Milito and made up for the mistakes of his partner, Andreolli. Plus, Menez was a menace down the flanks, and I think he would be a great addition to us, though I question his consistency and his mindset. The point is that Marco Motta really is a very consistent fullback who is equally adept at attacking and defending. He passes out of the back with really good skill and is a very intelligent player, he really showed maturity and class at the back for Roma. Obviously, the chances of Menez or Mexes coming to Milan are extremely small, and I don't think I'd actually want Menez, even if he has played very well the last few times I've watched him. Mexes, on the other hand, is a very good defender, and I think he would do very well at Milan. However, the only realistic option that we could grab from Roma is Motta. He really impressed me today, and he might have made some mistakes, but the important thing was that he corrected them. He knew how to correct them, that is something that few players are able to do. I think that is what seperates a very good defender from an excellent one. I think many times you'll see that there are good defenders there, take Lucio for instance. A very good defender, and he has the natural talent for it. However, if he makes a mistake, he does not usually know how to atone for it. Nesta, for example, can make mistakes, but knows how to push the runner and how to position himself, to ensure that he can rectify his mistake. Frankly, Motta really shows that sort of ability. |

Another thing though, Adiyah is going to the African nations cup, so he'll be signed in the winter, and will first be available in March. Is it just me, or is it almost pointless to register him this season? He's not gonna offer much cover for Pato and Dinho, since he'll only be playing for two months this season. Loaning him out wouldn't be a poor deal if there were money to buy someone like, say Krasic or Rafinha. |

So, Motta didn't impress me at all tonight. Then, I would say the contrary of you: you would want Mexes over Ménez, I would prefer Ménez instead of Mexes in Milan ... Ménez isn't used in his real position and he is still one of their best players in each game he plays (he is a kind of winger/strijer loving to go on sides and he is used in midfield in this Roma team). Used in his real position, he could really shine because he could have space. So in our current formation, Ménez would have his place, instead of Ronaldinho or Pato (if instead of Pato, it would be because we put Pato as our main striker => Edit for Chrsitian: same case that with Zarate, this player would allow to use Pato as our main striker too !!). |
