I think it will be an endless argument about the competition of each leagues. It really all depends on how you look at it. To be I think the fact that teams in the Prem are more attack mind is a better competition than having Regginna sitting 8 men defense with two players upfront trying to hit Milan or Inter with counter. Yes, maybe at the end of the day, there won't be the same top 4 teams yr in and out, but these mid table or lower league teams did not play better in general rather they just hold to their 1 pt approach. To be honest thats boring, and what makes it worst is that when I see players on these smaller teams cheers and celebrates their 1pt draw like winning the CL, thats something that need to be change. I would rather see a 2-2 draw or a 0-0 open game than a 0-0 8men defense vs can't score a goal game.

As for the part about boring games, well, to me it has more to do with the lack of movement and the atmosphere of the stadium of Series A more than anything else. As for poor passes and basic errors, well, r u sure u were watching the Pool Vs Blues game and not a training video of Seedorf?

Man what are you talking about? OK, there are problems about attendance in Serie A, but the atmosphere is much much better in Italy. Every club in Italy has its own supporter groups (tifosi) that actually cheer on there team and sing songs act. In England yes, the stadiums are full, but there is no atmosphere (only on Anfield). And I do not count applauding as atmosphere.

You people know Im a great fan of Azzuri and Italy ( as all of you ) and I dont like EPL. But in past few years EPL top teams are simply stronger then Serie a top 4. And that is it. Tactically serie a cannot be matched by all leagues combined...

And about the supporters: Italians INVENTED so called "ultras". So...
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Nevermind it...

Have you noticed that Kaka' basically said that Milan needs new midfielders that are actually capable of running? haha!

My thoughts are: Aquilani still hasnt signed and he is rumored to leave Roma alongside with Mexes and Doni. I'd skip Mexes and Doni and invest in Aquilani as he is a young, modern and versatile midfielder who doesnt play simply coz he is in a fight with Sensi. Dont let him go to Inter or Juve.

Him and Yoan back and we have solved the "duplicates" problem. Also Abate can help.

Ofcourse he's not gonna be creating a million chances playing in front of the defence, but that's Carlo's fault if any.

Really the Pirlo hating is uncalled for, and we would be making a BIG mistake if we stopped playing him, he's 29, and he is definetly still one of the best midfielders in the world.
Untill he showes on the field that he tried his best ( which in Milan I cannot see ) he can sit some time on the bench and actually start working hard on trainings so he can press more then first 15min of each game.

Atmosphere is not just having fans cheering, it is a lot more than that.

Empty seats is a problem in Italy and not a problem in England, why is that the case?

Another thing I considered better atmosphere is the fact that most stadium in Prem, have their stands very close to the pitch, to me it adds more excitment to the players and fans at home.

Thirdly, the stadium in England seems to be more modern than those in Italy. Now I only get this feeling from watching it on TV, so I could be wrong.

Lastly, maybe is the technology or lighting inside the stadium but when I watch the Prem game on TV, the pictures are a lot better than Series A.

I read about what Kaka said and my first reaction was, he is telling Carlo, Seedorf, Pirlo, along with Emerson and Ambro to leave the team.

Emerson will leave this summer!!And Seedorf for god sake lol..

We need only Gorky in our midlefield to replace Slowdorf and Pirlo (Flamonster in) sometimes on bench and problem is solved.

Galliani said a few minutes ago that we will not go for Adriano! And he will talk about players which he want to buy at the end of may!

Hahahahaha...Seedorf is a jokermam... He said in SKY CL transmission that he doesnt believe that Carlo will leave to Chelsea and that he has an excellent rapport with Ancelotti ( really???) and if Carlo is to leave he could be on his way to Chelsea to. Yes, the midfleld of Essien, Ballack, Lampard and walking Seedorf.

Seedorf was absolute top class, but he is making a mockery of himself by the way he plays. For him its enough, he cant play for Milan anymore. Gourcuff is too slow for Carletto, but See isnt.

Lets just play Gourcuff, Abate and Flamini and mix it all well and we'll be fine. Another modern player in the middle wouldnt do harm also.

And?

We still have one more place to fill, and we can't afford to have a bad defence if we want to win anything. Janku is our weakest def imo.

He needs to be sold this summer too.

There is indeed a sheen to the Prem matches on television. The bigots and hatemongerers who come to the stadia definitely don't help the image of Serie A either.

But there is some solace. English clubs are heavily in debt, and no matter what anyone says about revenue, that is not a healthy way to run a business. Also, Abramovich has lost a lot of money, so even Chelsea are not the bullies they were on the market.

At the end of the day, the attitude and structure of Italian football needs to change. Maybe we don't need to get rid of choreos etc., but something needs to be done to change the forbidding atmosphere of many desolate stadia across Italy.

There are problems in Spain also--look at the recent fall from grace of Valencia and Deportivo. How can La Liga sustain a competition in which the top 2 keep the rest of the league under their thumb? Also, look at how many top Spanish players play outside their country: Alonso, Fabregas, Torres, Reina etc. These players are stars, and they are plying their trade outside Spain because there is niether an equal distribution of wealth nor, as Fabregas's case shows, a legal restraint to keep youth from fleeing for richer shores.

We have seen this in Italy now too. Giuseppe Rossi, Macheda, etc. find themselves outside Italy because the attitude towards youth in the country is one of immense skepticism and disregard for their growth; just look at our club.

In short, I think football in general has problems, but in particular Italy and Spain need to start thinking of the collective a bit more. I am not talking about a communist revolution or a fraternity per se, but I am talking about a more sensible approach to promoting their football as a product.

Daniel Agger is a very good player. And he could possibly be a good signing for us. The chance of it happening is very slim at the moment. He is happy at Liverpool. We have to remember that he was injured and it's hard to win your place back when Skrtel is doing so well.

Even if he were to leave he would not leave to Milan. He would leave to a club in England or Spain.

True. But even then, the clubs will not reap the financial reward because they do not own their stadia--the city councils do.
