Management is a tricky business and you never know who'll make it, I never thought Mark Hughes would lead a Wales team to victory over Italy but perhaps he picked up a few lessons from Fergie . Gary Neville certainly has some obvious advantages though:

1. Playing under a legendary manager
2. Leadership skills
3. Intelligence
4. Oratory skills
5. Desire to win

Unfortunately Brian Robson had all of the above too, and he isnt exactly setting the magerial world on fire

I have heard that Gary Neville is running a very succesful properties business in his spare time though so maybe he'll just go into that full time after he retires

yeah it s a good point. One things for sure though, footballers are now so rich that they don't have to do anything if thy don't want to..

Speaking of great pairs I think Milan is offering us : Maldini and Nesta ; Sheva and Pippo ;Kaka and Rui ; Dida and Abbiati and will always have great pleyers who will be able to give joy to Milan fans.

Yes, it is true that manageriel careers are totally unpredictable and what you achieved as a player is no reflection whatsoever of how you will do as a manager. Some can do great as players but as managers their gone in a flash. But some players can do well. Just look at Chris Coleman. But only time will tell if he has that continuity that every great manager has.

And yes I was impressed with Mark Huges but also another coach I was impressed with is our very own Il Genio Dejan Savicevic. I think they didn't give him enough time. He led S&M to a draw against Italy and was doing pretty good till they sacked him. But I heard he had a fallout with Stankovic.

And isn't Keane learning to be a coach(Just think of all the touchline bans ). They say he'll take over Fergie himself but I think that'll take a long time as well. Tony Adams is starting small at Wycombe and United will find a much more experience and international manager like Trapattoni

I think thats partially it. In a way, it isnt what you achieve as a player but what you don't achieve. Fergie has so much fire still because his playing career got messed up and he was left with unfinished business, which he has carried over into his management career.Chris Coleman is potentially the same as his career was ended by injury whislt he still had some good years left.

yeah i thought he was doing well with them, it would be a shame if player-politics has played a part in him getting sacked.

There are rumours that Keane will become assistant manager and gradually take control from Fergie, but i think your right he's more likely to start with a smaller club and work his way up.

United will find a much more experience and international manager like Trapattoni

yeah, with the shareholders having a say they are most likely to demand an experienced manager with a good reputation. Fabio Capello was rumoured to be having English lessons...

For instance Sandro is a SS player (of course now he is ours )
I just wanted to say that real legends of our club can be such players as Paolo or Billy or let's say Rino or others.
It would be very nice if Pippo will win us scudetto and CL this year

I hope that day is VEEEEEEEEERY , VEEEEEEEERY , VEEEEEEEERY far away. This Milan is my favourite of all times so I hope stays this way.
