[b]Cassano is soon a Milan player!!!

Cassano is on the way to Milan!!!! I think he will be very useful for our team.
Our formation can be 4-2-3-1.
Dida, Cafu, Nesta, Maldini (Stam), Jankulovski, Gattuso, Pirlo (Seedorf), Kaka (Rui Costa), Sevcsenko, Cassano, Gilardino (Vieri)!

This team can win on all fronts, I am sure. Thank you Berlusconi and co. You all did a great job this summer too. So watch out Europe!!!!

Forza Rossonero! No more galacticos only Wonder Boys exist!!!

unless some sort of deal has been done between Juve & Milan with Juve giving way in the Cassano race in exchange for the Abbiati gesture.... hmmm

for all you know he'll go to inter instead

Alberto Gilardino has told Roma enigma Antonio Cassano to forget about a move to Milan this summer.

The youngster was linked with a San Siro switch earlier this week after Rossoneri patron Silvio Berlusconi conceded that the player was of interest.

But Gilardino, a £17m summer signing from Parma, says there is simply no need for him in northern Italy.

"Antonio is a great player who will be the fortune of Italian football," he said. "But I don’t think there is enough room for him here. We already have so many attackers."

Milan’s attacking options for the new campaign include Gilardino, Andriy Shevchenko, Christian Vieri and Pippo Inzaghi.

Cassano’s future in the Italian capital is still in doubt even if the new season is just a couple of weeks away.

He has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus given his contract situation but a switch has yet to occur.

Cassano is only contracted to the Giallorossi until June 2006 and talks over an extension have stalled – meaning he could leave for nothing next summer.

As I agreed with gila. We don't need cassano here and pippo is on his way back.

You know, considering all the talk about Cassano on the official website, in addition to Berlusconi's comments about a possible purchase, I am starting to believe that Cassano is joining us.
There's no doubt he's an extremely talented player, and maybe playing for Milan would humble him a bit, as he'd finally be in a situation where the club is MUCH bigger than ANY player.
I honestly have some doubts about Pippo. He has been injured for so long that I am wondering if he will ever be back to the level we're used to seeing him at. And in that case, having Cassano at Milan would be great. Also, keep in mind that Cassano is young, and would be useful for us for years to come.

Maldini will not play as a fullback in teh new season. It has been quite clear.
