What really worries me is the shaky performance of our defense of late. We conceded probably more goals in the last few matches than we did in half of our seasons . I just pray we get the CL trophy. It would definitely be desvastating to us if we finished the season trophyless having played so well all season long.

That was when Stam was injured. He can make great individual stops, but he's not fitting in. He can't run the defense and he can't cover for Cafu. Sorry, but I don't want to see him in Istanbul. Cafu - Nesta - Maldini - Kaladze, and Costacurta should be our sub in central defense, although I'm hoping we won't need one.

The preview is ready but the DAMN limit is set again! The limit is at 20,000 characters while the preview is over 25,000 characters! So can the administrator please increase the limit temporarily to 30,000 or so. If you don't increase the limit then no preview!

The Monster Arises Again?

I am pretty sure any Milanisti are very very excited just before the Champions League Final. Firstly i have to confess that i am not glad Milan's football against PSV(second leg) and Barcelona in group. Beside these matches Milan's football reminded me the MONSTER in spite of Ancelotti. So who is that monster?

It rises from the grave in 1950s for the first time. In 1949, Il Grande Torino crushed to Superga and Italian football was not fun: Valentino Mazzola or Eizo Loik, none was found. We, as Rossoneri turned our faces to the North and three great stars were found soon. Gunnar Gren, Gunnar Nordahl and Nils Liedholm were such an excellent trio which is called Grenoli Trio. They were so good even for Serie A and Rossoneri won many scudetti.

After Grenoli Trio, the compass was showing the north again but this time not abroad but another city in Italy. Golden boys Altafini and Rivera were the reason of a myth written in San Siro again.

Milan had to wait for 30 years to create another unbeaten armada. This time, another trio coming from Holland was under the control of Minister of Defence, Baresi's coalition.

I have really liked Milan's football these year. IT could be better if we did much better against Barca and PSV but anyways, I saw the monster again this year and really did enjoy it.

Milan won Champions League Cup in 2003 but we had never reached this level. The Monster arise again in our legendary San Siro, Meazza.

We did so well this year and now we are against another legendary team in history, Liverpool. We are the best team of last 40 years in history and Liverpool is the second one. What a great combination! And a great chance for us to finish this year with OPUS MAGNUM.

Ambro is in high risk of missing the final. A bad blow for us since he's very good in the air and can contrast their long defenders and midfielders.

can you please have a thread in which you do not attack the coach....it's getting to be very monotinious......you can say what u mean without hinting to the same thing over and over in different threads....we know where u stand...thank you!

That is an interesting point, Ruffian.

Btw. I seem to recall to have increased the limit of characters once at request from Haroon. Maybe Reza has simply had it with those time-consuming previews. Would be a shame though

Hopefully, the limit will be increased. I must say I'm very intrigued to read Haroon's preview
