It will be Chelsea or Lyon, no doubt about it. I guess that would be the final unless they meet before of course, the winner of their match will get the prize.

Chelsea because UEFA likes stars and Chelsea has a team full of them, of course Barcelona has them too, but their turn passed, Real Madrid and Valencia won't get it because Spain got it last year.

The Italians won't get it because UEFA is pissed off with calciopoli and the recent violence, so no Roma, Inter or Milan. The teams who are left are not prestigious enough and don't sell as much sponsor deals ect... even Bayern doesn't fit the deal here, and honestly for the last two months they play very badly. PSV and Celtic are not big enough (for UEFA suits)

Lyon could be favored because since Marseille no french team won it and that's ages ago 1993 final vs. Milan. (1-0 Basile Boli, he got their only chance of the match in, a header on corner, am still sick because of it), also Lyon is the mounting star in Europe, but if I had to bet I'd take CFC, and it will hurt to see Sheva lift the cup in blue instead of red & black.

You see maybe you think I'm crazy or something, or bitter, but I've seen some crazy stuff happen in football, like Milan getting 3 red cards in Verona on the last Serie A day so we would lose the match and Napoli could win the scudetto, or Maradona scoreing vs. England in 1986 with the most flagrant handball of all time, and those two examples are just two of hundreds. I don't believe in fair games anymore, it's all a stage...

But then of course some times stuff happens that's not according to plan, like for example Italy winning the WC right in the middle of calciopoli, which was obviously not in Sepp Blatter's plans because he refused to hand Italy the world cup, Johansson had to do it instead...

or in 1982 little Northern Ireland beating Spain 0-1 in the Bernabeu in their own WC (The next match of course Spain got 2 penalties to see them through the group stages), it's moments like those, that aren't staged well enough that make it still worthwhile, who knows, Sheva might make an own goal for Milan against Chelsea because he thought he was playing with the striped guys...

English is not my mothertongue. There is a function on this board that prevents editing of a post after 10 minutes, that's too fast for me to reread my posts and edit them when needed, often I get the "you cannot edit your post" sign, that's why there is "swearing" left in it sometimes, I think in Dutch and write in english here, what is not swearing in one language can be in another.

Having never been to Milan, I cannot answer you except to say that it would be quite unusual for anything untoward to happen to you, (unless you are in the home Curva, and do something extremely stupid)...as for out side the stadium (which is not on a high street) be very careful, its a big city, with big city problems...but, because Milan will win you shouldnt have any trouble with our tifosi (fans)

Back to the San Siro and your seats...SANT can tell you where you will be sitting, if u provide seat #s or some such info, and usually, if you are in a high price section, you wont be bothered much, if at all...he can also tell where to go for a etc.

Milan fans, are generally a very well behaved lot, unlike those of our neighbours Inter..

What happens In Milan If you are catch carrying a knife? Just asking dont think Im going there to kill someone I just carry one the whole time the blade Is about 8 inchs.

that was exactly how I read it. you said Celtics were EASILY capable of winning it over 2 legs. no matter how you stressd it, 'EASILY' is always a strong word. to me, that was everything arrogant about it. It is an opinion, so yes, you can have one. but to me, it was an arrogant one nontheless.

I would be surprised if they let you in with a knife with an 8-inch blade.

And many Milan fans have never been to San Siro, including me..

Ac Milan has fan clubs from South America to China, so we would need a stadium for millions if everyone would want to come at the same time.

I am supporter from Milan since 1984 and I never been to San Siro yet (because I don't have the finances) but I've attended to almost all matches Milan played in Northern France, Belgium, Holland, and Western Germany. I will get to San Siro one day though, muslims would say "go to mekka once in your life" fits extremely well, Milan is a religion for me.
