Let's judge him once he's got a few more games under his belt. Some of you are still living off the high from the Siena match.

I think we should give the man all the praise he deserves, even though he's only played 120 minutes for us. He has scored 2 goals already, which almost make him our top-scorer this season...

Forza Ronaldo! Forza Milan!

All Ronaldo has to do, for me to think that his transfer was a prudent one, is score 10 (domestic, ie Serie A)goals per season, while he is contracted to play with us.

If all our forwards can do about that number, we wont have a problem winning the Serie A, and teams will be so fearfull of us, that they may opt to play us with no striker, and a team of DMs and Defenders.

My mom, who is quite neutral, if not to say that she doesnt really care about Ronaldo or Milan..she saw the highlights of one of the recent Milan matches and was literally shocked. She said he is way too heavy for a football player. Musles..huh? That is really funny. No the guy definately needs to slim down.

He probably can still drops a few pounds. Keep in mind though he is probably just big-boned. And, if he is fat but he can score, who cares what others think.

let me put it in this way, I think Pippo should exercise more and build up some muscles. Every time I see him half-naked, I can see his ribs. But as long as he scores, who cares what I think?

he can be as fat as fat bastard ... but you know what... you should show some respect for the best number 9 in history or at least in our time. This guy has the gift of scoring goals in the most beautiful ways, he had a great performance on saturdays game, maybe the best since he started playing for milan, he has more talent than gila, pipo and oliveira combined together.

And hes not fat..watch this video

I think Milan Lab coordinatoor, Dr. Meerseman (sp), said that Ronaldo's lost 3kg already and his problem is not being fat but being too muscular ... that's basically what's contributing to his weight.
The thing is that muscle tissue weighs several times more than fatty tissue, so one could be lean and muscular and still be above his normal weight ... which is the case with bodybuilders and other fitness active people.

For a prof. player like Ronie, however, it is not good to have too much muscle because the weight of the muscle would slow him down over long distances and makes it more dif for him to carry around and thus he won't last too long running around on the field.
This is basically why all long-distance runners are pretty slim, while short-distance ones (sprinters) are pretty bulky and look like bodybuilders.

So, from what Meerseman said, I guess Ronie's weight problems are not the result of him being fat and eating too much but more of an improper fitness and dietary regime he must have followed for quite some time before his coming to Milan ... which makes me wonder what the fitness coaches at Real M and Brazil NT have been doing about it since for a football player packing on too much muscle is just as bad as getting fat.

Ronaldo is OK..i belive he will lose some weight too but when he get the ball in front of a goal, he'll score no matter how fat is he. He might be "fat" but i don't care till he will be scoring goals

Today I read something in my local Daily Express that almost made tears come to my eyes . Scolari was quoted as saying that he sitll wanted to coach Brazil and that RONALDO WAS STILL THE COUNTRY'S BEST STRIKER
These words for some reason mean sooo much to me.
Sorry to get all sappy its just that I love Ronaldo so much and I love Milan soooo much and now that they're finally together...I mean I know its a longshot to dream of him getting back to his Barca form but to see him play with us with passion and perhaps hit a few goals is one of the most satisfying experiences I have had in my whole life ...even my sister (12 yrs old) was saying that I was so fortunate to have my favourite player on the team I love...then she went mouthing off at Sheva for leaving what could have been the best partnership in the history of the beautiful game

Since the early days of my forum life ( haha ), from the old goal com to the new goal.com and Milanmania, I always remember Drucurl being Ronaldo supporter. And I was always the opposite. Well, I dope you get it your way mate!! Every time Ronaldo scores I'll somehow remember your old posts supporting the fatty from Madrid.

Also, now I've seen 8 min highlights from Milan-Chievo and Ronaldo is clearly in much better shape then he was in Madrid. He stil lacks a bit of sharoness on the final few steps befor the shot but we cant expect him to come back that fast. Anyway, next season ,after Milanlab does whole training process on him, we'll have suzper forward for sure. But noly if he continues to work hard like he is doing now. The moves are still here

I know he still has the moves. He can do all the stuff that you see Ronaldinho doing, though less gracefully and much faster. His problem is psychological. Its as if you can see him worrying when he takes on a defender if he is going to get injured again....that's why most of the time he opts to play it safe...I mean the guy was written off as would never getting back his leg even to walk. Even though I'm his biggest fan I'm also a critic, but I can't say I blame him.

If only we could have him play in the champions league, we would have a perfect shot at our 7th.

Ronaldo - Champions League???

Can anyone tell me why Ronaldo doesn't play in any of the Champs league matches? Is it a rule regarding transfers? They deperately need him.
