Bottom line: Every one makes mistakes at any age. To point out only 2 or 3 mistakes form the past 24 months is unbelievable Polo Maldini is still the #1 defender in the world whether you like it or not

That's actually a very good point.

However, if management do not buy another defender because Maldini will give it one last go then that's a problem.

I like Ambro not because of technical skills and all that other good stuff which he has plenty of. I like him because of his personality on the pitch; he never gives up and plays ever ball like it was a decisive final kick in a champion’s league final.

Paolo Maldini is my favourite player. he is my angel. he is the best player .
Forever PAOLO MALDINI!

I must say, Welcome to MM. We could be friends here

it is simple.. he would be paid the lowest of any starter at 1mE.. I feel he will retire too!

It's now official... we will have our captain one more season...

06/06/2008
MILANO - L' A.C. Milan comunica di aver prolungato il contratto al proprio Capitano Paolo Maldini fino al 30 Giugno 2009

Thank God!!!!

Keep the good news comming!!

The good-bye is postponed for one more season Maldini will be 40 going on 41 eh?

Thank god!!! this gives me a chance to watch Maldini play at san siro hopefully this year!!

Paolo will turn 40 on June 26th... he will be almost 41 by the end of the season

Wow this is great news. Now the young generation of Milan fans like me that didn't have the chance to watch him for so long can see him for one more year.
