Am i the only who considers the performance of yesterday decent?
I think Portsmouth is very good at home, and not as easy as many would have thought. They were dominating the midfield, but at the end how many dangerous chances did they have? Milan was trying to control the game, in order to maximize the advantadges and minimize the efforts, until they scored. Then, we had some pride and started to play as we know. My only concern is about Ancelotti: how long does he wait until he substitutes a player? I think he should have put Dinho and Pato earlier. I think we shouldn't take definitive responses from the yesterday performance. For example, Senderos made some mistakes on the goals, but showed some progress, while Antonini was outpaced many times, but in all games bar yersterday has always been good.

Well I got back from the Milan game. Still not impressed by Senderos.
Antonini was outpaced once or twice, but I was impressed with his desire to actually try running at defenders, shooting and crossing. The rest of the team was just passing side ways. Shevchenko was lazy and is far far from being what he was when he left us. Kaka is still not imposing himself on the games. Until Ronnies freekick, the performance was pretty frustrating. When will Ancelotti stop using Emerson, with him on the pitch we have conceded 2 goals when he started and a goal each for his substitue appearances. We need players who actually want to attack on the pitch. Otherwise we make teams like Portsmouth and Torino look like Barca. Milan fans were awesome and never stopped supporting Milan. Inzaghi came over and gave his top to a fan too.

For some teams, certain games may be meaningless. The performance is not so important unless you get a result. But we are Milan, we have our reputation to protect, and a game against an English team is an automatic---the world's eyes, all of the English-speaking press's eyes will be turned to us----it is a chance to make an impression for AC Milan and for Italian football in general, and what do we do? Make Pompey look like Barca and make ourselves look like the prototype Italian team--play crap and scrape by with an undeserved draw. I am longing to see Milan exert its dominance when it gets the chance, beat teams 4-0, 5-0, and then rest our key players, rather than jog around until we are 2-0 down and then react.
