Funny how everyone mentionned and is going to mention Favalli (umh ... today ...), Kalac (it's ok mate, your place on the bench is still hot for you, don't worry) or Seedorf (he still had his lucky moment ), but never Kaka' ?! Again ...

I must say Kaka' was mediocre, but he was not atrocious. That's why I didn't mention him. In general, he has not been his best this season, and we have struggled.

Seedorf, Seedorf, Seedorf, the man who had all the time in the world, waving to the crowd while walking towards Sanderos to replace him. I wonder if he's happy that he scored our only goal? or he was proud that he secured us one point? or he's just wasting time to let the score settle at 1-1?

I'm really disappointed in R80 as well. He really slowed down our counter attacks, and once he tumbled, he took all the time in the world to get up and back into position. No wonder he never got a place in the starting line-up.

Damn, if only R80 has 1/2 the heart of Rino, he'd still be the best footballer in the world.

It's strange how a few months ago we all knew the scudetto race is over for us, we were fighting for spot in the CL, and realized this is a "transition" season.
Than suddenly, with some luck and a few good games, lady luck decided to open a little gap of opportunity and than slammed it into our faces...It just wasn't possible, our schedule was just too hard.

Has to be said that, when Kaka plays bad he makes it up with his running.

And Seedorf waving his pointing finger to the crowd whats up with that? Like his is number one? Or he scored one goal? wow man

I really don't understand this reaction against Favalli and Kaka. Neither were particularly bad and the problem was to do with our incoherent play in what was a very scrappy game. We didn't control the game and that's really important, and ultimately it stopped us playing the football we've been playing for the past month or two.

The first half wasn't too exciting, it was quick but lacked real quality. There were a lot of scrappy tackles and the lack of creativity from either side was detrimental to the game. Seedorf imo was our biggest problem, as he wasn't in the match at all, meaning Pippo and Kaka lacked the creative support they desperately craved.

The second half started in similar fashion, but Seedorf got that goal as he happens to do (where he'll do nothing, but get a goal). However, we lost organisation and let Juve come straight back at us and equalise. For their goal, we didn't close down either wing and invited them to cross in for goal.$ It was our poor control over the match that cost us. Then as we went for the win, we ultimately suffered at the refs hand. He cost us a potential victory in the span of around 10 seconds, as he denied what looked to be a pretty definite penalty and then sent off Favalli for literally a nothing challenge.

Players...

Kalac - Poor despite having almost nothing to do. Fumbled on the ball on the only reasonable shot at him and looked uncertain.
Flamini - He did well down the right. Put in a lot of effort and I won't blame him too much for the Juve goal as although he could've covered better, we should have stopped the move earlier.
Maldini - Excellent game on the whole
Favalli - He was ok, few mistakes but not costly. The red card was a shocking call by the ref.
Zambro - Decent game, was generally in charge of the left wing
Beckham - Not an awful game but didn't really seem in the game much. His passing wasn't particularly effective even if he was making some decent passes.
Ambro - Can't be faulted for his workrate, but didn't really seem in the game at times. His side of the pitch wasn't brilliantly covered and Juve seemed to find space where he was supposed to cover.
Pirlo - Definitely the best of the midfield trio. His passing was excellent and he looked to pick some passes that unlocked Juve a little.
Seedorf - He did very little in the match besides the goal. This ultimately costs the team and the flow of our play.
Kaka - Not his greatest game but still probably our greatest threat. He didn't play badly, but the man needs more teammates around when he's trying to build.
Inzaghi - Missed some good chances. Not a great game for him.
Pato - Never really got into the game
Dinho - Probably came on too late to make an impact
Senderos - Did well to cover after Favalli's red card.

We weren't awful, but not enough came out from the team today. More importantly, we didn't play with the same rhythm or control that we have in recent weeks and this is what hurt out performance. I think the team seemed nervous and pressured in this match, as did Juve, and it resulted in a game lacking in a great deal of quality, with neither team really doing enough to deserve the win, despite playing a highly intense and quick game.

Quite honestly, this match is somewhat of a reality check for us. Despite our recent form, we're still lacking in too many areas and these problems need addressing in the summer.

The offense was changed/reshaped by the subs and it just didn't help. Regarding Pato I assume there was an injury reason for not starting but nevertheless and not for the first time I don't get some substitutions.

Well.. its just a sad day for me.. watching Juve coming to Meazza with absolutely no intention of playing football was really disheartening. Sure they are off form and such but for a club of their stature to show absolute fear of an opposition team ( no matter who ) is such a disgrace.

IMO, once again having SlowDorf in our side cost us points and as usual Ancelloti will be the only person who watched this game be satisfied with that goal he scored. Sure he scored a goal that put us in the lead but how many times did he just take too much bloody time on the ball ? worst moment for me watching him was during one counter attack when KaKa and Inzaghi were making runs that split the defence and opened spaced up infront of him and he totally scruffed his shot outside the box. God Damn it wasn't even close or atleast near the goal. It was the worst shot of the night..

KaKa too had a bad night IMO.. everytime he got the ball, he tried to make something happen on his own even though he was surrounded by 2-3 players and sumtimes even 4 but he insist on trying to dribble through when the smart option was to keep possesion by passing to a teammate. It was a fault but it also earned him respect.. He was full of running and refused to accept a draw till the final moments and its this Heart that fully endears him to the fans. His refusal to accept 2nd best.. even the faintest glimmer of hope gets the man running as if his life depended on it.

R80, people make blame him for slowing the game down and taking tumbles but everyone forgets that one moment when he actually ran so far back and made a tackle that earned us possesion. He got up immediately and ran to an attacking position. There were mistakes here and there.. frustrating moments but to blame a man who played for all of 15mins with the team 1 man down is really stupidity at its finest.

Lets all be honest here, We are not Barcelona and we don't have the players with technical ability to hold on to possesion and spray passes around. We dun have the team with intricate passing that frustrates opponents into making mistakes. We don't have the ability to breakdown a 11man defence team with the calibre players of Juventus with 10man as Barcelona did with Chelsea. We all knew it was a transitional period and we just have to accept 2nd spot, this was a good result considering the circumstances and we kept a stranglehold of 2nd spot.

Both Amauri and Iaquinta are stronger, faster and even bigger than our back four, so their counterattack looked dangerous. Our slow attacks gave them time to defend with number. Hard match.

This match and the rest make our board think more carefully about the reenforcement.

Agree with ACM1983's ratings; Datasport ridiculously rated Flamini a 5. Sadly, two classic matchups that would've probably made the game more exciting were they played from the start (Gigi-Dida, Paolo-Del Piero) went up in smoke instead.

Not only was that pinhead Seedorf grinning while leaving the pitch (so classy), Inzaghi was plenty pissed at Carlo when he was take out.

JUst saw the match and I must say, this is byfar one of the worst games I seen this season. And to think that this was the Country Derby, it just made matters worse.
IT is game like this that is giving Series A a bad name. As if you watch the BIG 4 of EPL played each other, it is much more entertaining then this.
I would not blame Juve as much as they are in bad form and played the way they always played this season, with 4-4-2 counter attack. BUt what was Carlo doing playing with Pippo by himself. This was the COuntry Derby, we were playing at home, we were in good form, Inter drawed and yet, we were not all out attacking?????

Then there is Slowdorf who managed to score a goal but also missed about a million passes and forgot how to run at a NORMAL HUMAN SPEED. I found it funny how, everyone was booing at him and he still waved his finger toward the crowd. He must leave after this year. And I will bet that the moment he left, he will trash talk Milan.....

Okay, after a night of reflection, I've come to the conclusion that we deliberately drew with Juve just to earn ourselves favours in next season's run-in to the title race. I mean, how the hell can the team that Ranieri put out have pegged us back at all???? It's gotta be Uncle Fester selling favours so we can win the League next season :P

Honest and simple opinion. Ancelotti got the whole thing messed, from the first minute.

Favalli, despite having the red card unfairly given to him, really would not have been my first-choice centreback. Senderos really did do much better in mopping up any messes left by Flamini and Maldini in the final 15 minutes, and he even bombed forward to earn us potentially match-winning freekick as well. I seeth at the thought of what would have happened to our defence had we actually played him from the start....

Ronnie and Pato's introductions came way too late in the game to have made an impact. I already said at halftime that we needed to take off Inzaghi (who really didn't do much all game) and Seedorf (who scored a tap-in... that Dida would have scored with his eyes closed). If the coach had the gall to switch them on at half-time, then they would have been able to actually get into the game and do something.
I saw three or four potential chances set up with the Ka-Pa-Ro formation, if we'd given them 30 more minutes to play, it would have been maybe 10 or more additional chances, we could have buried one or two of those!

The ref was horrible for not awarding a penalty to Pato, IMO, and for sending off Favalli, who really didn't do anything more than what De Ceglie did in the first half on Kaka (which really should have warranted a yellow).

Flamini was the best player on the pitch IMO. He saved the defenders behinds in more than 4 occasions and was bombing forward with relative ease. The only qualm I have is that, if anyone watches the game again, no one bothers to let him run to the byline and cross in a ball from the right. He's always available in that position, and yet Kaka, Becks and Seedorf never pass it back to him, always opting to run into the center (where they subsequently lose the ball). In Becks case, I can understand because he'll cross it in, but for the other two...... well....... if you've got a player down the channel, use him for god sake!

All in all, the players played in the best way possible, given Juve weren't even here to play football. But with the right tactics and substitutions, we really would have won this game instead of complaining about the draw.
