Im only a young fellow I can't take much more of this Milan are putting a strain on my heart..lol. We definately deserved the win despit ESPN saying Chievo deserved a point for work rate , work rate can only get you so far. Chievo actually had their whole team in their own half and I thought Liverpool were negative.

Nesta amazing the coolest player on the pitch again. And Dida WTF what a save amazing amazing save confidence for Nelson always a good thing. And Leo obviously is giving the team talk of team talks recently.....DELIGHTED I AM.

Super Nesta!

Wow! Tuned in at the 67th minute. Sandro is showing the way...the effort, the spirit, the soul of Milan right now. Some nice crosses by Pirlo, hard work by Boriello and a fantastic save by Dida helped. But, we sure need Nesta to stay healthy! Up to a tie for fourth with 15 points.

Nesta is the best defender of all-time.

Alright we all have to give credit to when its due, and I believe Dida deserves alot of credit for the save and he is the reason we did not lose the game. Antonini and Oddo had good games in my opinion.

Ronaldinho had an average game, he hasn't improved upon anything. He didnt do anything great, he did have a couple of chances to make a couple of assists but failed to do so.

And there is some criticism for:

PIRLO: Another crap performance, but did have a few good passes at the end. He must find consistency.

SEEDORF: Absolutely horrible performance. Nothing good today. He did run back alot but still not good enough.

HUNTELAAR: just like Gila, absolutely useless. Had about 6 games now and has failed to get ONE CHANCE. As soon as Borriello and Pippo came on, both got at least a couple of chances to score and threatened the goal. Huntelaar does not deserve to start.

and lets not kid ourselves, this game was far from perfect. We have ALOTTTT of work to do.

Pirlo was great

@hitmanq8

What game where u watching? Pirlo was our second best player after the legendary Nesta. great game by him.

The team still needs a lot of work though

Not a bad game to be honest. We conceded early AGAIN. We have to start these matches with the same intensity that we start the 2nd halves. Seedorf had a really poor game. His touch just left him today. He couldn't even stop a pass. Really shocking at times, but I wont get on his back as he's been great the last few games. But I can appreciate some consistency. Pirlo as well was bad....untill the last 10 mins or so.

As for Dida.....what a save. I have to say, thank you Dida for that. We need to see more of that and less of the Madrid episode! Let's see if this little burst of confidence will do him and us any good.

Huntelaar?!?! I don't know what to say. He just isn't making a good case for himself. I know we played a poor first half....but how do you explain Boriello comming in and instantly getting at the end of crosses and battling like an animal. Let's see what happens in the next few weeks and how Huntelaar rides this wave of good results.

Pato and Ronaldinho were both good today. Ronaldinho spread some great passes around both in the first and second halves. He also put in a couple of incredible through balls but they were misscontrolled at the end(one of them by Pato i think). He was also unlucky a couple of times....expecially on the one shot where Sorentino was on the ground inside the goal but he extended his arm to save the shot. In the end, he came out because we needed an extra body in the box. Even though I would have rather taken out Seedorf who was a zombie today like I mentioned. Pato on the other hand was a menace again on the right hand side. All I have to say is......."Keep it up kid. Now you are really enjoying yourself."

The other thing is that.....Oddo finally put in some good crosses in the second half. After a terrible terrible first 45 minutes, he showed up in the second half and put in some dangerous crosses. Antonini had a decent game. I don't see why we don't use him more often. He isn't a world beater but proved again that can be a good back up.

Silva was solid....but Nesta was AGAIN unbeliavable. Thank you Sandro!!!!!!

Let's go to Napoli now, and NOT concede a goal.

Pirlo was nowhere near our second best player. He only started playing well in the last 10-20 minutes. second best player can go to pato for all of his amazing runs with the ball or dida for that amazing save. pirlo was more or less invisible throughout the game, which is not really his fault considering how much he is required to play. Pirlo and Seedorf should not be playing 3 games within a week. This is why Beckham will be useful to our side wen he comes on loan, he will be able to give pirlo and seedorf rest. and did anybody notice how pissed ronaldinho was wen he got subbed?

Leo: “Dida's error in Madrid was partly my fault, as I told him to immediately restart the attacking play the moment he got the ball. He was looking for who to pass it to and rushed it, so the ball bounced off his knee,” explained Leonardo.

Wow. Great guy.

Pirlo - stili making a difference.

Some are hammering Pirlo for his play today...maybe you're right about the first 70 minutes but if not for his beautiful...I say again...beautifully useful cross which Boriello headed into the crossbar from whence it rebounded to Nesta to score our first goal with his header...no beautiful cross...no goal...no win today. He made up for it.

And it was he who ignited a fire under our collective asses in Madrid with his goal! We started playing with some fire after that!
