IMO its a good thing the hunter will play instead of borriello! I have more faith in him for this one, dont know why, its just a feeling Maybe becouse borriello hasnt done good in the big games so far.

I have hopes for corners Nesta, Thiago, Dinho, Huntelaar and Ambro are my picks to score

Seriousely, we'll have a lot more troube then you people in here are writing if United plays in the middle like Merda did vs us.

Milan needs to hide the ball, and so I hope Pirlo, Seedorf, Pato, Dinho and Ambro will be calm and precise.

No, he's not. Starting lineups aren't determined until game day.

I dont want our players to forget that were playing at home. Its ManU that should be scared ****less. i hope we attack there weaker defense and i hope that our defense plays smart and doesnt make rookie mistakes.

Key players for me is our CB's , and the front 3. I think Pirlo or Seedorf will do there jobs. R80 better step up , and Pato should make runs when he has a nice opening but also look for the pass to H11.

We need to try to get a 2-0 win.

Im going to watch the game tomorrow at a restaurant with a ManU fan LOL

TMW recalled some interesting statistics: each time we played against Manchester United, we managed to qualify for the final ...

If we also remember this other record: each time Milan and Madrid faced each other in CL, the winner won the CL ... we can say we are the winner of our both games against Real (3-2 in Real, 1-1 in Milan).

If you merge these two statistics: Milan is for sure the winner of the CL 2009-2010 !!

Can't wait for this game to start !!

PS: It was just a small post to give you some optimism !!

Nothing less than win a here. We are playing at home. Wow and am so happy for Huntlaar. Its his opportunity to show that he can score goals.

Considered that he has not play one great game for Milan all season, he really does not deserve to play against ManU. Pirlo, Ambro, Gattuso, Flamini and even Beckham deserve to start over Seedorf aka laziest player alive.

Rumours surfacing that Bonera may beat Abate to play as a RB. As much as I hate Abate playing as a RB, I think Bonera is worse... I wouldn't risk changing the lineup or the way we play.

I just am curious as who will be our third midfielder besides Ambro and Pirlo. Most sites report that Flamini will start, I just hope he manages to keep his cool. I was hoping to see Becks or Seedorf though because Man Utd will be very defensive today and I did not want to have 2 DMs. I think we should attack them while we can, even tho it is more important to keep a clean sheet.

I hope to see surprise changes before kick off: Seedorf & Inzaghi in the starting 11. These 2 guys are legends of the game and competition. Seedorf's got four CL's with 3 diff teams and Pippo is the highest scorer in UEFA's history. There's no way Huntelaar can offer what Pippo can offer in a game like tonights.

THE GAME IS IN 9 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with your choice and it will most probably be like that. I don't have a problem with Flamini starting either, but we need REAL Seedorf here, his form is crucial for our success in CL and he was a player who gave his best when it mattered most. But perhaps Seedorf is not 100% and Leonardo doesn't want to play not-100% players. Anyway, we will lose a lot without Seedorf.

Zambrotta's absence is a huge blow, too. But, there's a chance that Leo starts with Oddo, I mean why not, Leo is a coach who doesn't qualify player as "fit", and doesn't call him for matches, until he's 100% fit for 90 minutes, and as Oddo is called for this match - he's fully fit.

But overall, Manchester is hurt more in defense. Vidic's absence is huge, Ferdinand is a shadow of his former-self this season, some sources say he even lost it, Rafael is their first option at RB, and Evra is their best defender this season, which tells much. I just hope that Thiago Silva will start, because that will be crucial for us in this first match. Not because he's so good, which he is honestly, more because he adds a lot of pace and can cover Nesta when he's exposed for pace. It will need a lot of pace to deal with Rooney.

Finally, I'm not expecting great game for us - simply for a reason that we always gave our best in second leg. I would be very pleased with some minimum win say 1:0, or 3:1.

The last Milan game I've been to was the Milan - Mancheser game in 2007, and when I spoke to people at the stadium, they all agreed that that game had the best Milan support in years from the fans.....I hope to see the same again today. Apparently the San Siro has sold out 80,000 tickets (4,000 are Man Utd fans) and they have gotten an income of around 4million euros just from this game (I wonder who's pocket its going to go to).

I am totally losing control and have started to jump around like a junkie. I'm going crazy, I just hope come tonight I would be able to sleep with a smile on my face.

Everyone with me:

ALLEEEEE, ALLLLEEEEEE, ALLLLEE MILAN ALLEEEEEEEE
FORZA LOTTAAA, VINCERAI,
NON TI LASCERE MO MAI
