Now here is something i wouldn't mind at all :
"Sports paper As said Thursday that under the Capello plan, if Juventus end up being relegated to Serie B for their role in the Italian 'Moggigate' scandal, Juve will loan out some of their top players to Real until the club is back in Serie A. Juventus would thus avoid having to pay their massive salaries at a time of low income. And Capello would be able to use the players, for at least one season, as part of his plan to rebuild Real - without the Madrid club having to pay any transfer fees. The players in question are Juventus' brightest stars: Gianluca Zambrotta, Fabio Cannavaro, Emerson, Patrick Vieira, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Trezeguet. But if his plan is good for Juve fans ,if Juve falls that is, the other part of his plan is pretty bad for Milan fans : "Another player Capello is keen to bring to Madrid, in addition to the Juventus group mentioned above, is Kaka. Kaka was the big name promised by Ramon Calderon - along with that of Capello, in his successful campaign for the Real presidency. AC Milan, however, are furious about Real's illicit approaches to Kaka, and are threatening to report Calderon to UEFA. 'Plan Capello' has clearly generated much less enthusiasm in Milan than in Turin and Madrid."

Tony, I am not sure you read the fine print when you first accepted the terms to join this forum... in very small print, we had written:

( imagine, Juve players going away from Juve and being loaned to Real became a good news )Lol, this is my situation atm : Imagine Milan playing a CL semifinal at home against Chelsea. 1.You're excited, have a great hope...and then.... 2. BUM...Chelsea beats you 0:4. 3.You are nervous , angry, you wanna scream, cry etc... 4.You know that your team is probably out of CL, but you still have very smaaaaaaaaaal hope that a miracle will happen. 5.You're less angry now, and you've accepted the elimination, but as i said, there is tiny hope because you heared that Lampard and Gallas got injured during training. 6.But the miracle doesn't happen, and Milan lost 1:0 in London also. You're sad, you feel bad, but not as bad as in the first 5 days after the 4:0 defeat. At the moment, i'm somewhere at point number 5 ![]()

Sorta defeats the purpose of "re-building" the club that really needs it. They will only be delaying their rebuilding process another year. I also think the Italian players will try and stay in Italy if they possibly can. |

i guess this "Cappelo plan" thing is just another AS scifi theory and total rubbish. nowadays most of the top rated players have release clauses for the case of relegation included in their contracts. i'm talking about "natural" relegation not even mentioning technical or contumacious relegation which they can't really affect by their performances on the pitch.
as the clubs are fighting hard for their signature, the agents are working hard to earn the best possible conditions. not even salary is decisive but also other "clauses" that protect players career. one of the most used is that they have right to terminate their contract if the team gets relegated. i'm sure that 90% of the mentioned Juve players have this clause in their contracts so it will be up to them if they stay with Juve in B, let themself get loaned or just move regulary to other club. I guess to let themself get loaned and sit their ass on the bench in Real Madrid is the most stupid thing any of them could do....if their heart belong only to Juve...they should stay and help em to get back. If not i'm sure they will rather move on as they really can't predict how long this situation can take...they have to beware of their careers. Not mentioning the fact that Italians would rather stay in Italy than moving to Spain. I'm sure that Real will buy 2 or 3 Juve players if they get relegated but seeing most of the Juve squad moving on loan in Madrid is total bull****.

This is what Kaká said rescently: "If Milan remain in Serie A I will not move for sure, otherwise we shall see, but it's still too early to talk about it."
That definately shows that he's one of the players who got this clause in his contract otherwise it wouldn't be up to him whenever he moves or stay whatever happends. i'm sure the clause was in his contract from the beginning cause Milan wouldn't extend his contract and adding this clause now when they already know there's a possibility of going down. This clause is very common thing in contracts of the top players in top clubs as the possibility of any type of relegation is very low in the cases of Milan, Juve and this kind of big teams. Just the agents trying to make it sure that the players won't suffer in lower division.

Also Gattuso and Gilardino both stated that they won't move if Milan gets relegated so the other article talking about "whos gonna stay, shows gonna move" is rubbish too.

Not quite sure if this thread is the right place to ask this question... I am a fan from China with Milan since 1987, thus not quite familiar with what have happened with the players in Milan when they got relegated for the first time (well, lets include the second time). My friend kept telling me that, even in those hard times, only one player volutarily asked to leave, and therefore, Kaka, who recently put his future with Milan in a conditional statement, really did a bad thing because he became the second one to do so and thus made a serious betrayal to Milan's honored trandition.
but what I can find from the vague description of the story showed me that almost all the main players had left the club and only Baresi stayed, which made him so admirable. Therefore I am wondering if some long-time supporter here could tell me what actually happened to the squad back then. Did most players stay? (yup, this is my question...) For me, Kaka's intention is not plausible compared to what Baresi, Maldni, and Billy did, but quite understandable because he is not even an italian and would not want to see his rising career gets jeopardized in a low division. But the timing for his speech is not that nice because his statement would just add up the cloud to people who love Milan but not certain what would actually happen to this team. He should have kept his mouth shut and waited for the verdict. |

Hope everything will be OK, so all the players will stay.
But if something happens, my only hope will be Caroline , Kaka's wife, she's studying in Milano and that's why he don't want to leave ![]()
