Anelka struggled in Spain after falling out with everyone at the club and refusing to train. Henry has more than a few personal problems at Spain (including missing his daughter and the back end of a divorce). Oliveira in his time in Italy had many personal problems (kidnapping of his sister). However, I don't think he'd be a good option for us, as I don't see how he'd fit in. Sheva can be argued the same, his time at Chelsea has been tough due to struggling to adjust to London and Mourinho (who wasn't his biggest fan). However, after two seasons of mediocrity, it'll be a difficult task to get Sheva into the form required at Milan (especially at his age). It will also probably take time, which is something we can't really afford. If I was to base my judgement on sentimentality, I would take Sheva back in a heartbeat, as I still want him to do well and am always thankful for all he did for us. However, we need to start looking at the reality now, and logic dictates Sheva is a very risky signing, which we've made too many of in recent years, many resulting in the present problems. I don't want Milan to change into a heartless corporation that will simply treat players as commodities, but sometimes we have to take a firm stance. |

). But in his soul he always was Milan player, Milan is in his heart and I don't think I have to prove it, it's obvious. He will give his best to prove himself again, he will fight for us just like Inzaghi does. Not like Drogba or R10, for them Milan would be just the club, who is paying their salary... ![]()

I'm not gonna bash them for saying that these deals are practically done. They never said anything close to that last year except in the case of Suazo who didn't want to come. Sheva definately wants to comeback and Ronaldinho's agent stated that he will either come to Milan or stay in Barca this coming year. The only thing I see that could possibly stand in the way of the Ronaldinho deal, is failure to qualify for CL. Sheva will come no matter what. Furthermore, I don't think these signings mean that there won't be any signings come the season end. As you said most signings/deals occur at season's end. But if these signings are any indicator of the amount of activity there will be this summer, they have started early enough for me to believe that this could be an REALLY active summer for Milan in the market. I'm sure they have things line-up this year but alot hinges on whether the team qualifies for the CL, so they have to wait and as a so do we. They'll be plenty of opportunity to slam management if they don't sign other needed players this summer. |

Juve fans are dreaming of a Ronaldinho like signing. I think some of you should seriously think that are cronically unsatisfied, and whatever the board do or we sign, you'll always find a reason to criticise.

Like I said once, the only problem with Ronaldinho to Milan is the fact that Brazil will become better and better !! Kaka' and him will learn to play together, you add Pato who is our future and Brazil future (even present lol) and that's going to be amazing, too amazing lol ... don't worry about the next World Cup, we will already know the winner !! Hihi
Actually, guys like Ronaldinho are always signed before the start of mercato, because then, all clubs do official offers, whereas right now, only "friendly" clubs can talk with Barcelone and the player ... For a guy like Sheva, the fact that the club is trying to deal him now is simple I think: once the mercato is open, he comes to Milan, no time lost and he will be able to do the pre-season physical training. Actually, unlike Mr Anonymous said, I'm convinced that most deals are already done before the start of mercato ... when it is not, it's for some reasons: - the club doesn't want to sell the guy or wants a higher amount of money (Lyon does that each summer, you know the guy will be sold, but you don't know for how much) - the player hesitate - the club has no target at all and takes the guys on the market when they come on it (what we did last seasons except for Pato) If your targets are established, what seems to be the case for this year (yeah yeah I think they targetted players this year !! lol), you can start to deal before mercato ... PS: Back to Ronaldinho, his official recruitment is going to be announced after Barcelona's elimination from CL, so, I hope for them, after the final ... Last edited by GeoTav; 12-04-2008 at 06:49. |

Even the referees are different. In EPL they let the game to be free, even the hardest tackles often are not enough the ref to give a foul. In Italy it's opposite, even a min. contact the ref could whistle. When you play and in one moment you feel that somebody is pushing you, just have to fell and you win a free kick. If you're around 30 and had played 7 years in one of the league and then go to the other league, you can fail very easily no mather how good you are. ![]()

It’s from Corriere dello Sport And it’s sais that Moratti is talking with Laporta Yesterday Roberto de Assis said that Ronaldinho never declared that he will only play for Milan if he will leave Barca How much truth is in all that? Barcelona is only trying to get much money from Milan? Ronaldinho probably waits to see if Milan will play in CL next season |

Well I for sure have read De Assis saying that an agreement with the player has been found however I've also seen sooo many agreements between club n players take place but the two clubs do not find an agreement, however, Barcelona are a club that have always sold their top stars.
Galliani & Berlusconi have made us too many broken promises in recent years, if Ronaldinho doesn't come that is just simply not good enough and I would want them to resign. Not that I want Ronaldinho to come here, but just because of all these comments such as "180% we have Dinho and Sheva". Anything above 100% means he is certain, so if there is any trouble with this deal, I would really like sack Galliani. I still don't believe the agreement has taken place with Ronaldinho, Sheva or even Zambrotta. Maybe Zambrotta will come but I'm not sure about the other two.. |

Yes yes, and he showed it by kissing Chelski's jersey in his first (or was in second?) game for them. So Rossonero. The only reason he wants back is because he feels it could turn his career around, and he could get in form again. There is no Milan in him. |

I tend to believe Galliani but now i'm concerned about the fact that if Milan won't play in CL they will only "buy" Sheva
Galliani said that Milan's mercato will be the same if Milan will play CL or UEFA cup (but maybe not the same names) |

Rayno, you've got to be Sheva's brother or something...take a chill-pill! At the end of the day, if he comes back on a free and trains his ass off, accepts his role (whatever it may be), and Chelsea pay the bulk of his wage, I'd take it. I think he can teach Pato and help develop him, as Pato has been looking a bit lost way out on the flanks and Sheva used to rule this turf. But really, the myopic worship is too much-he is NOT the same player, if you have been out in pasture for 2 years, aged 2 years, it is much more difficult to return. However, if he has motivation, if he has the nerve to prove people wrong, he can succeed. I will say, if he did choose to come back, he has a LOT of balls-because he will be scrutinized for everything, and if he doesn't play by the rules, the fans will take a big merda on him.
We all make mistakes in our lives, and we can do things to rectify them. I for one have never heard him say a negative word about Milan, and his actions to me will be the most important (minus the badge-kissing of Chelsea which made me puke). He is no longer Sheva the world-class, he is Sheva the has-been. That is his reputation NOW, he needs to come to terms with it and determine how best to make it better. If we take Dinho and Sheva, we've got 2 players who are majorly out of form. I believe that Milan is the environment to motivate certain players. Some, like Gila, do not have the internal motivation required, in my opinion. Pippo is the opposite of the spectrum, and if he teaches a class at Milanello entitled Motivation and Sacrifice for the Team 101, both Dinho and Sheva must sign up for it, do extra credit, and become the players (and men) they want to be. |
