My god, its like, they don't want to be better than the Bundesliga. It's like Italy wants to put their own d**cks up their a$$es. Stupidity in that Abete is on another level.


I hope some one interferes and fixes things. The reasons EPL and La Liga are way ahead of us are BECAUSE of the foreign players. Yes their national teams aren't doing so well but when have they ever done well? (Spain is doing well in the past 2 years actually). Having a better league, more competitive one will serve for the national team players...Italy are doing the opposite, they are trying to make it easier for the Italians to play by taking away all the competition!!

This rule will have the same effect as the Calciopoli if it will be officially implemented.

well you have to understand italy is very protectionist in general , and since they believe the foreigners are the problem they'll force teams to play more italian's therefore like most places in europe, they can force them to get better they'll take away the free option to allow teams to better themselfs cheaper , but what happens when you have a guaranteed spot , people will become more lazy and can even slow growth of italian players , the idea of what's italian and what's not comes in , so they believe by being more nationalist and protectionist , will force the national team to get better , if this exit means anything this will inspire the national team to become better because they " let down the country " like in 2002 round of 16 , then became 2006 world champions , you become champions by working hard and earning your spot , not by guaranteeing a spot and becoming a starter eazily .....

I always like Fucile since his first days in Porto. Not a world-class IMO, but surely better than most of our fullbacks. And will be cheap too.

Apparently we are willing to sacrifice Dinho & Hunter to fund Honda and Ibra and there wages ....this I would be okay with but I dont see that working I mean Ibra will be waht 35 million and Honda 10 - 15 million and there wages Ibra 9 million and Honda would go for 2 or 3 million thats 63 million and we'd get 35 at most for Dinho and Hunter then we'd have to use the 11 for Storari and Oliveira if we get it and maybe whatever else we have.

Long time has gone since I wrote something here, so I'll try to comment as much things as I can.

The formation you're trying to impose will not work here. Neither of Van Der Vaart and Diego doesn't fit in AM role in 4-3-3. Seedorf was WAY better in defending than both of them and we all know how brutally we were exposed in midfield last year. Furthermore, Allegri isn't keen to let 3 players staying behind the ball.

About Allegri and the system. I didn't saw a much of Cagliari last season, but I've gained some information about the way they played last year.
Allegri plays 4-3-1-2. It can turn in many other formations but let's start with defense.
It's a classical defensive 4, side backs have freedom to come up but they can't stay up and forget about defense. He prefers one side back who's equally good in defense and going forward, and one who can also fit as a CB (that's why we want Caceres it seems).
For midfield, it's classical 1-2-1, but not as we used to in Milan. The man in front of defense is a DM, destroyer, not a playmaker. His main job is to protect defense. Two players in front of him are a CM playmaker, and AM who can fit in CM role and defend well (that was Lazzari). Fourth midfielder is classic trequartista, but as many players in Allegri's team, he's specific one. He must be able to help the midfield in defending, but more important he must have a movement, as his position can vary from AM, to SS/WF and even CF, everything in one game. It seems Allegri likes the play with lot of movement.
In attack, one striker is more like SS (left-side), as he must be able come deep for the ball, as well as go to the side and act as a classical CF. He has to help in defending as well. Other striker is a CF (right side), and he can stay behind the ball (the only one), but he also must be able to go to the side and to play for the team.
And now about tactical choices. As I said already, Allegri wants a lot of movement. Defenders and DM are what they are in nature, i.e. they hardly switch their positions with someone else. But from them on, it's all movement. Right CM can come back for the ball or to act as other DM. Left CM/AM can also come back for the ball, but he can also go up to act as a real AM. That way the formation can switch into 4-2-2-2. Then, trequartista, he can go a little to the right, to form AM-duo with LCM, or even more to the right to act as a SS/right winger, and that way the formation can be switched into 4-3-3. He can even go straight up to act as a CF, with strikers to the side like SS/wingers. When team defends, the formation can turn into 4-3-2-1. From the look of it, it really seems like tactical delight.
Now, all of this can look messy, so I'll make a graphical formation, with the players who can really fit in the system. I will use the players we have at the moment, as well as the players we are linked with in parenthesis.

That's about it. Ronaldinho clearly doesn't fit in this system, in fact he doesn't fit in any quick-moving system. What will happen with him it's up to be seen, I just hope Allegri won't make a mistake and f.ck all his theory to make a system for Ronaldinho to fit.

For other players linked with us, I see many people here are delighted with Oezil, well I am too, but let's not be carried away with German players playing great for NT. Klose is one of the best world cup scorers and he can't get into Bayern's first 11. He isn't a half of player for the club he is for NT. Podolski is also great at world cups, but he had to leave Bayern for Koeln because he couldn't deserve a starting place. Until I see Oezil playing that way for Werder, I wouldn't play more than 10-15 M for him.

Fucile, De Jong & Kuyt, these players really needed at Milan. The silent heros.

Fucile had 2 YCs already and will not be at semi. It is a good thing that there are very few reporter wrote about him (I've never seen one). Coentrao is a new star for LB and Uruguay is all about Suarez, Forlan or the right back Maxi Perreira.

With the arrival of Yara Toure, we may have a chance for De Jong (still quite expensive).

Kuyt is 29 and not a favourite like Torres or Gerrard, we could get him.

i wouldnt mind de Jong. We should work on relations with City, they seem to always be buying players, and then always selling players they bought the year before for cheap.

Fabiano is the biggest loser and wannabe... all of the last summer he was begging to join Milan but we didn't want him so then he said he never wanted to leave Sevilla.... this summer as soon as he heard of Milan's interest he quickly declared that he would want to join Milan again and right after Galliani said we dont want Fabiano, he now says he doesnt want to leave Sevilla.... he is just desperate for a big club, as he is 29 and never won anything meaningful at club level and was never ever close to joining a big club...

I think Milan should make City into us with Real. IE, City will always buy crap from Milan, like Real with Milan.

De Jong is an awesome CM, one of the best in the game in my book.

Getting Honda and Ibra will be great but does that mean out with Dinho and Hunter or Dinho, Hunter and Pato? TO me Honda and Ibra will be a combine of close to 55mil, doubt Milan can afford that.

This guy was too cocky and full of himself. However, he was unlucky, too. I feel sorry for him. He, Robinho or Kaka will not be Milan players this season

Otamendi is not an upgrade to Antonini or Abate. He is nothing special and quite frankly, if there was no rumor linking him with Milan over the past months, none of us would even be discussing his name now.
