I posted earlier that I feel sorry for Zambrotta, Cannavaro, and Buffon. A better decision than keeping Juve in A would be to send all of them to Milan

Haha.. I'm now thinking of Insame Amount of Fine For Juve (maybe 3-5m? )20point deduction for them at the start of the Season & Strip them of their European Spot for the upcoming Champions League. That sounds about right dun you guys think? its not overly harsh nor is it too lenient.. That'd be my take if I was one of the judges.. Some of the Juve players did Participate in the Azzuri cause for this National Honour.. The moment Italy won the Cup, all my dissapointment and anger at Juve dissipated into thin air replaced by contentment(Italy is still my 2nd choice though :P)

I don't think the appeals will alter the sentences unless there is new evidence. Italy wants to be seen as being brutally ruthless in weeding out corruption. Saying Juve are in Serie C then going "nah they're not" would cause an outrage.

as most people have said, I don't think we'll get relegated though. Juve should, but they will be the only ones.

I thought it was said the verdicts would be set today - why now in 2 days time??
I dont think we will be relegated either, but also a deduction of points would be an outrage I think. They have no proved without any doubt that we have done anything wrong.
Sad to see Juve go down. Serie A will definately be missing something in the coming season. Hopefully they will be back soon.

Who benefits from fixed matches the most? Well, those who gamble on a certain outcome...Who controls gambling, all gambling in Italy? The Mafia...whichever branch, whatever family, it is they that control it..

So, for me, its simple, the Mafia needed to ensure certain results, and thus the Moggi system...end part 1.

Part 2: Anyone remember the huge amount of money Berlu (thru mediaset I think?) gave Juve for TV rights? Well, I really dont believe that he will ask for it back, and I dont think that if a clause was included re: cancellation if Juve were to be demoted (for sporting reasons) it will be honoured.

The reason: Berlu may have been, either directly, or indirectly responsible for the creation of an alternate "Milan" system, that at the end of the day, couldnt compete with the one run by Moggi on behalf of the Mafia...(I mean really...who competes with the Mafia and wins?) and therefore, this multimillion euro deal will continue, such that Milan escape unpunished, but Juve are given a "life-line" via the huge media investment...while they take the fall...

Here endeth my lesson..oh sorry, conspiracy theory...and u kno what...the more I think about it, the more I feel that as we say in Jamaica: If it nuh go so, it nearly go so. (If thats not how it goes, then it goes nearly like that)
.
Thanks. I'm glad you mentioned the Mafia because besides La Cosa Nostra being attached to Moggi, dont ignore the fact that the Mafia has had very close alleged ties to Berlusconi. The mafia rackets is a web network. You see this whole scandal isnt a direct down the line who's doing what racket. It is in a web schematic and dont think that within the network Milan is absent from it. Politics, money, footbal, gambling... no we dont think Berlu would be near any of this!

Again another Mafia theory. Ok... I'll play along. First of all I'm not talking of Berlu's power in regards to his former govt post. I'm talking about the silent arm he has to influence public opinion and in effect through such power influence govt action and behavior. Look... you all have the belief that the political, social, and economic system within Italy has the smell of Mafia all over it. Well look at the obvious! Berlu is a politician and an economic mogul and not just any mogul. He controls the heart of Italy's information empire ie the media. Now that Milan life is on the line we are going to say its the mafia and at the same breath detach Berlu and his vested interest from it?

Let me give you a bit of Mafia mannerisms. Again... if you think that the Mafia has very close ties or are in fact the defacto power behind Italy including it's judicial system, lets examine mafia behavior and where Berlu got over his head.

Let us define what the Mafia is in Italy. Is it one total overwhelming body in lock step with one agenda or are there competing families and interest within one body? You may have a governing body with La Cosa Nostra but you also have rivalry who at one hand have common interest and yet compete against each other as well. So lets assume that the Mafia have a common interest in the racket of Juve and the money making racket behind it.

Say this Juve persecution is that of a "hit" against them. It is a dangerous play if a competitor of Juve wants to solely gain from their fall. Who was the very one blabbing his mouth about any gain from Juve's downfall? Was it not Berlu? Do you not think rival shadow powers would take that as a threat against their turf or financial territory and use whatever connections they have in govt to stop this potential takeover? Dont forget tooo that with all that is going in with Milan why isnt Berlu screaming and accusing the Mafia? Either they arent involved or he's very smart not to even mention their name.

One of the judges said mercoledi (wednesday) will be the probabile day for the verdict. I think it's the right choice to give verdict then and not today, since their heads are not 100% clear after yesterday's success.

I think the verdicy is allready known and there won't be any changes about that, despite the WC success. Most of the Juve fans are Italians and i can see them even accepting any punishment at this moment much easier than if Italy wouldn't have won.

Serie B won't happen to Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina, while Serie C won't happen to Juve. At the end, it will be what was originally thought - Juve in B, the others in A.

But i must say that Italy owes a lot to Juve. Many other teams, and especially Milan and Palermo, have their shares in the World Cup success, but that trophy Italy won yesterday was black and white.
Not only that Juventus' players are the ones responsibile for the great defensive display of Italian NT. Not only that Italian captain and imo the best player of this World Cup, Cannavaro, is Juve player. Not only that the best goalkeeper of the WC, who saved so many shots, is a Juve player.
But even the guy who missed the penalty for France, and by that gave the gold to Italy, is a Juve player.
Heh, even Vieira helped Italy by injuring himself, and ex-Juve Zidane got the red card !

Juve in B, the others still in A ...... i can't see anything else happening...but it's only my opinion !
