Wasn't Cannavaro that sl*t who ditched Milan for Inter? right at the very end of the transfer window? Well, I certainly wouldn't want someone like that if his heart hasn't changed. I mean, I always thought Cannavaro would be great for us based on his solid performances for Parma and Italy and almost 4 yrs? after the transfer he's still proving that. But ever since that transfer season I felt like Nesta was our destiny. After all, there probably was a reason he was considered the best defender in the world throughout all these years despite Cannavaro doing all the dirty work. Of course I wouldn't mind if he has a change of heart now though.

And what's this talk about Juve being Team Italia? Milan make up Italy's MIDFIELD with Pirlo and Gattuso and both Gilardinho and Inzaghi scored more than crucial goals for the Azzurri. Not to mention Gilardinho was part of the original starting lineup and also did great when coming on against Germany. Besides, Nesta did just as much as Cannavaro, if not more, in all the games he played right up until he got injured against the Czech Republic.

I'm not being biased towards Milan or against Juve. But you're simply discrediting the fact that many other (non-Juve)players made more than significant contributions towards the success of the team. Materazzi, long considered Italy's bad boy and hated by all Milan fans and almost everyone not an Inter fan. Twice he scored vital goals when we needed them both. Every single Italian probably became a fan towards the villian after yesterday night. Grosso, much unfancied before the world cup, who three times became our unsung hero and Italian saviour. How many hearts did he win? Little red riding hood Francesco Totti, who despite playing well below par after struggling to recover from injury still managed to provide a tournament high of 4 assists. Not to mention the oh-so-vital penalty he put away to give us hope when we thought all was gone.

And frankly, I don't care about the French players of Juve, cuz they were the losers. Besides, their most impressive players were not even from Juve (Zidane, Henry and Ribery), with the exception of maybe Thuram and Viera. You can count Zidane as a Juve player if you want, cuz I do admit he became who he was at the Delle Alpi. But by doing that then you cannot say players like Cannavaro and Buffon made themselves in Juve, even less so for Viera. Because Zidane spent just about as much time or maybe abit less creating successes for Real as Cannavaro and Buffon have done for Juve.

COme on Tony, u really can't say that ITaly won owes a lot to Juve.

For starter, if it was not for Grosso, Italy probably won't even pass Aussie.

Then what about all those Pirlo passes and free kicks.

What about the goals and assists that Gilardino and Pippo created.

THen there is as much as I hate to admit, THE BUTCHER playing his best in his whole life.

No doubt, Juve players contribute, but to say that Italy owes a lot to them, u are above ur head here.

Lol, of course every team had it's share in winning the WC. It was more of a joke, because of Trezeguet's miss. That's why Italy owes to Juve

Well, actually I don't think of Italy in terms of the mafia..or at least didn't up until now.

But the point is that Silvio wouldn't have started arguing about the two championships and wanting them back if Milan were involved. So the most likely case is: Juve to B (guilty with no connections to the mafia purely because Moggi is evil), Milan in A and clean (innocent and cheated) and scudetti to no one. Hehe.

-Given that all conditions are the same, the simplest explanation is the right one.Hehe-

You did bring up the Mafia though.

Look... let me set my position straight because everyone is in the belief that I actually think Milan did cheat. That's not the case. My case all along is that if we involved ourselves in some power struggle to get what Juve has won it would lead to our implication of involvement. Implication as in "implied". We literally "walked" ourselves into this trap by getting involved in the legalities of Juve's problem it was having with this scandal. It was a foolish move by Berlu and the Milan execs to do this. The fight in this scandal wasnt Juve against Milan. It supposed to be Juve vs the legal system until our loose lip motives of getting something out of it started. How many times am I going to have to repeat this?

But how can we be involved in something simply because we are asking for the two scudetti. Where I stand is we are either innocent or guilty of match fixing and/or some manipulation. If we are innocent then no matter what Berlu does we can't be guilty. If we are guilty then I don't see why Berlu would do anything but hide in the rabbits hole

It is because we went after the 2 scudetti did we attract the unwanted and very unneeded heat by the investigators that got us to where we are in the first place. Dont forget... our club was the first to go do this. We did it before even stating our innocence. Did you not read in the papers what Galliani's attorney said about what Galliani regretted? He said we should have addressed this scandal more candidly and presume our innocence. No what we did was go after the loot!

Scudettos are another story....
Noone should get the scudetto's if they are taken from Juve.
If Juve cheated, then the question we need to ask ourselves is : Who were the cheated teams ?
Can anyone prove that because of Moggi's influence, Inter didn't lose 6 points in head to head duels with Juve, and aditional 20 points because Moggi was apointing refs on Inter matches, so those refs influenced the results and damaged Inter ?
Maybe Fiorentina lost 40 points because of Moggi, maybe Milan lost 0 points because of Moggi and maybe they lost 20.
And what about the Uefa Cup fight? Palermo with 52 points will play in UEFA, while Livorno with 49 points won't !!! If there was manipulation with results, how can we know that Moggi didn't make Livorno lose 4 more points than Palermo ?

If they prove that Moggi was making all these things happening, they should first find out which were the aranged matches, so they can make the real standings, and then give the scudettos and CL/UEFA spots to the teams.
That's impossibile imo, and that's why i believe that , if taken from Juve, the scudetto's should be given to noone !

And also, don't forget Meani's involvement. If it wasn't for him asking and getting refs, then Fiorentina and Chievo may have had +3 points, and Udinese maybe wouldn't have played in Champions league last season !!!

Intercepted telephone conversations revealed Meani complaining to the official in charge of assigning linesman to Serie A matches about a linesman he selected after Milan lost to Siena in April 2005.

"There is not a single fact in the world that proves Galliani approved of Meani's conduct," De Luca said.

Omission was not an offence, he continued, before insisting on the club's honesty as well as its glorious history.

"AC Milan has brought this federation, of which you (the judges) are also a part, many, many trophies. We will be respectful of your decisions. But we are proud to be Milan," he declared to the hearing.

Milan's owner is ex-prime minister Silvio Berlusconi who has said the investigation is part of a campaign against him.
Again thanks for this Warro.

What did he mean by saying that omission was not an offence?

Is Galliani saying that Meani requested a ref and that he knew about it but that keeping quiet was not an offence?

Anyways the fact that there are tapes of Meani and Galliani means that they were LISTENED TO during the investigation. It could be that at that point somebody wanted to involve Milan but never found anything. Those forces wanting to involve Milan could be the Mafia mentioned. And that mafia could be what Silvio is refering to when he says that this scandal is being used to damage him.

You're answereing your own question. Berlu opening his mouth about gain in this prompted (if it is Mafia) to go after his butt.
