What about the defense ? Moggi's lawyers asked not only the 40 intercepted phone calls to be taken as evidence , but also for the other 99 000 conversations to be taken as evidence of his innocence. The judges didn't allow those 99 000 phone calls to be concidered as evidence.
In a NORMAL trial, it would have been allowed, but it wasn't allowed here. It's obvious that they lack time, and they allready decided to finish the process after 1 month (meaning, they knew the verdict even before the trial began).
Imo, this is not ok , but again, i don't understand the legal system, so i'm probably wrong !

It's official, Deschamps is the new Juve coach, while Del Piero, Nedved and Marchioni confirmed they'll stay with Juve even in Serie B, and that they look forward working with Deschamps.

If you have 99040 calls taped by a private investigator hired by your not-sure-if-he-is-cheating-on-me-wife and 99000 calls are ok but in 40 you are talking to your mistress, I gues she would end up thinking you are cheating on her.

Absolutely, but we'll never know if in some of those 99 000 phone calls i'm having a conversation with 19 more cheating husbands, who were doing the same things, but they'll continue living with their wifes, because they never found out the husbands were cheating on them !
Those 99 000 phone calls may be the prove that Moggi, and by that Juve, wasn't on top of it, and that it was something that was happening everywhere, in every single club in Italy.
I still stand behind my words that Moggi should be punished for what he did, no matter if he was the Capo or just anothe guy who was doing the same things as everybody else. But i'd hate if someday i find out that Juve was a scapegoat !

Juve scapegoat???!!! buahahaha! Juve is made of FIAT directors and Torino businessmans, and Moggi just worked for them. But I'll not start it again....

OK, but then you don't need to submit all 99 000 transcripts as evidence, only those that proove there exist other cheating husbands. I'm sure that would've been allowed and even more probable is that it WOULD'VE been used by the prosecution to ensure that other cheating husbands don't get away.

Yes Tas, i'm aware of all that. I'm not suggesting at all that there would have been found evidence of Moggi's innocence, but what i'm saying is that they were not accepted as evidence, and it was most probably because they are in a hurry to finish the trial as faster possibille.
How on earth can you finish such a big trial in just 1 month ???? Even the nazis were given more time to prepare their defense !

And another thing.
If one conversations lasts at least 1 minute, then you'll need 68 days only to listen all those conversations, and base your defense on them !
The defense wasn't given 68 days to do that ! This can become very important when Juve will apeal on the decission !

Or possibly they had nothing to do with the trial? So, there were more intercepts than the 300 or so pages of transcripts published? And those intercepts weren't even trascriptasized ( ) ?

I agree with that! But only if you listen to them on your own. It would take only 6 days if 12 people do the listening.

Still, it stands that they were not given those intercepts, so they couldn't use them.

And yes, there was much more than those 300 pages. In those 300 pages you can find only the things that were useful for the prosecutors, nothing else !
Now, the lawyers are asking for every single intercepted phone call in the last 2 years, so they can base their defense ( it's actually buying time what they're trying to achieve, but when this matter will get to "normal justice system" , and knowing Italians, this may prove to be decissive in Juve and the others escaping the punishment !)

What is the court up to?? They should just grant the public acess to every intercept there is. Again, I don't think there will be any escaping justice or that anythiong will be done not according to the law because the whole world is watching, but we'll see.....

You can make it Tony27, Tony25 or Tony20, but it won't change much, since for me it will always be 29 (until it becomes 30)...and plus, at least it's still number 2 following after my name.
