Summer mercato 2009

Summer mercato is here again!!! It was time to close the "winter mercato" and relax in the warmer atmosphere, as every summer.

So we have lived through another winter mercato: Ricky stayed in an epic drama, we bought Mattioni and Thiago...

Now its time we make another 5000 pages about almost nothing, start milion fights and change the coach once and for all Madrid will ask for Kaka' and they'll offer 120mln, we'll be on a verge of signing Mexes or Cannavaro... most likely we'll end up with one or two free and old players. Merda will go for Drogba, Mourinho will ask for 600mln for transfers from Moratti, then he'll get fired People will beg for $heva to leave and for Maldini to stay It will be fun.

In the end, I hope we'll all start the summer mercato as scudetto winners

And that we can all have fun in fair play and with creative discussions and ideas from our old and possibly new members.

Forza Galliani and Berlusconi!!

Way too early for this thread. Can we lock it till March at least?

Lets start now, whats the point of locking it till March.

To be honest, I have a strong feeling, Drogba will come to Milan instead of Inter, first of he is over 30, reached his peak, and will be cheaper than his price as Chelsea will want to offload him to us instead of Inter.

What's the point in doing that?

The winter transfer window closed on monday, so actually this thread should have been created earlier if anything.

hope we can land Zarate in the summer, and send sheva to dinamo kyiev or whatever,Zarate Pato and Kaka behind them will be the deadliest forward line in the universe,we allready have Thiago Silva and with Nesta healthy(wich i hope he will be),all we need is a left full back, maybe Taiwo from Marseille what do u guyz think of him,i think he is good an young also 23,i think he would be good investment!

So, do you think Daniel Agger will remain a target for the summer? It seems he's no closer to resolving his contract issues with Liverpool. And I suppose that unless Borriello and Shevchenko step up their games in the second half (which would be wonderful) Milan will look for another striker in the summer.

if Mattioni fulfills at least half of the expectations (the new maicon), then we probably won't need another defender.. well unless Agger comes really cheap you know

as for Gourcuff, if we wanna get him, we should start as soon as may, cuz given how slow and immobile he is, it will take lots of time to get him here before the season starts
