Horrible game, wasn't it?

I don't know why 3 metre Peter still plays for us. Bale didn't do much - true.

Modric though... that boy is class.

4 weeks to go

Modric is good, yes. As the announcer said, you need to get more width with Lennon and Bale, and beat Man United on the wings instead of playing up the middle. Very sloppy game with little tactics...

Hopefully we'll have a few additions ready for you in 4 weeks time...

if we carry on playing so poorly in the CL and in general for that matter we will get smoked in the first round, we need to pick the pace up again.

i think if we compare, we do have a better squad player for player. But the style of football Spurs play, quick transition, diagonal balls, is something we have found problems with all season.
Very tricky game, a victory in this tie and we could get some amazing momentum and confidence.

By the way, an old enemy Steven Pinaar has signed for Tottenham. Any one remember his equalizing goal in the sensational 3-2 match b/w AC Milan vs Ajax | UCL QF 2003

Was that the one with Ambro scoring late in the game? I really like Pienaar though. He's a bit 90s. Whatever that means...

It was Inzaghi who scored in that match at the end... The game you are talking about is against PSV in the second leg of the semi's in 2005, where Ambro scored when it was 2-0 (and heading to extra time).

Correction. Inzaghi assisted, Tomasson scored & kept AC Milan in UCL

Bale has got a muscular injury in the last game of Tottenham, and from the comments on TV, it seemed serious ... I'll try to get more news, the game is in 3 weeks.

On our side, Pirlo is again out, Boateng isn't back yet, and Flamini has still to be back at full fitness.
