sack poulsen!!!!
why didnt he play indhra sahdan... he is the only s'pore player who has the creativity, speed and ball control and he leave him on the bench.. its simply unacceptable.. i cant believe although today the performance improved slightly we still cant afford to accept the fact that we are out in the group stages in our home soil indonesia may well be out too but their group is lot more tougher and competitive...and they didnt suffer any humiliation in their home soil as we did against malaysia... sack poulsen and sack all the players, get the youngsters in and prepare them for the future and get a better coach... its ok if we lose with our youngsters, atleast they could get the exposure needed for the future, im bitterly dissapointed ... we cannot go on like this.. |

Instead of relying our so called 'import players' we should send our youngster to europe for better exposure and knowledge. That is what the malaysian are doing and look at their squad with an average age of 23 but playing superbly.Don't get too emotional mate.

Not quite...
From the performance against Thai.... S'pore play quite well... However, Changes has to be made... Zul, Rudy and the older players should give up their places for the youngsters.... Zul was bad in the first half... Still lack of determination and commitment but prehaps the equaliser goal perk him up and he perform slighly better in the second half... Rudy was having a very quiet game when most of his team mates were fired up for a win... He lack the fire that the youngster has and he should be on his way out.... Nazri is the captain and he should be in the team to guide the youngster... Rafi, He is the only 1 who is really creative.. Unless there are some youngsters out there who are equally good as Rafi, If not, I think we should keep him... The youngster like Alam Shah, Indra and Noh Rahman(He perfrom superbly against Thais although he play badly in both Malaysia and Loas match) should carry on... They are currently good enough to be in the team and should just keep them... Bennet is a class defender... He was right on spot to intercept any passes the Thais makes and he was very calm and collected. Maybe we should find a youngster to partner him... Subramania is close to the end and it is better to starting looking for a bew defender... The match against Thais gives mi hope still....

Isn't it unfair to import players from other countries??? i think it is totally unfair and it shouldnt be allowed by FIFA.. if thats the case why not we give our nationality to the chievo players, most of them does not represent their countries even though they play some good football

Most of French NT team players are imported.
Maybe that what the Singapore football federation are trying to do to make to world cup 2010.Just look at our table tennis and badminton team! |

He was sacked/resigned as coach, but he may still remain as director of football.
Too bad, but when you lose to Malaysia 4-0 at home, its gonna happen. |

P N Sivaji is widely tipped to be the next National Coach... But I think Fandi Ahmad will be a better motivator to spur the team out of the bad patch...
