MILANO - In un'intervista rilasciata alla Gazzetta dello Sport, Adriano Galliani ha confermato l'accordo trovato con l'Empoli per il ritorno in rossonero del centrocampista Luca Antonini: 'Posso confermare che abbiamo raggiunto l'accordo con l'Empoli per il riscatto di Antonini, che prenderà il posto di Serginho', ha dichiarato l'amministratore delegato rossonero.

Great just great i think now we should bring back Marzoratti and Abate and buy Cigarini what about Donati is he sold or loan ???

I'm really quite pleased with this, and it will help reinforce the team... since Serginho retired, we did need a replacement.

As far as a tough defender, I think we should go for Christian Zapata from Udinese... does anyone have any news on him if there are talks going on?

Welcome Back, Antonini.

I am not really happy Antonini is the substitute of Serginho as Antonini is far away from Serginho's level but what I've read he is ok player and we still have Favalli who I think still good backup for fullback. Plus Antonini is italian and Milan's product, these should be also counted.

You are right. Serginho is one of a kind... a superb player... but we really needed someone in that position. I think Antonini has become good enough to play well...

Antonini as I said in another thread went through like 6 or 7 different clubs before he had the experience necessary. He's not that young compared to other players we have loaned out... he's 25 years old...

The times I have seen him he has been good, not going to go into the 'Milan quality' debate, in my opinion he is good and still young of course.

That's right Giancarlo. He is a ready player who can come in in the middle of the match and might not need more experience.

If he could be at least next Favalli or Pancaro, it would be great. Not a superstar player but a decent player who has both abilities to defend and attack pretty well.

we have also officially lost Lino Marzoratti to Empoli, and now have 50% of Luca Antonelli's contract while Parma has the other 50%, he will play with them next season.

we have 100% of Antonini, but Empoli now has 100% of Marzorati...

and Luca Antonelli is now co-owned by Milan and Parma... he will be playing at Parma next season.
