I don't know if this is just a late reiterration of what was posted here initially or there are some new developements on the matter, but here is some food for our dreams :

This is good news if it's recent and not an old story being retold.

With a bit of luck he might be in our side (or at least on our books and loaned out somewhere) in the near future.

With the amount of quality players we are linked to only to be dissapointed Im not expecting anything.

Maybe we will sign him when he is 30 though.

Thats just a low blow When we were after Gallas my friend kept saying he was too young for us I didnt really have much of a defence other than the usual cliches to do with experience which dont even apply after a certain point.

Thanks for the link, zlatanov.
Maybe this guy in Channel4 read my post in Milanmania
The truth is that the more I watch Marcelo play, more I believe in my affirmation that this kid will be the best at LB for years!!!
Last week I saw Oswaldo de Oliveira(brazilian coach that trained kaka in Sao Paulo, and this year, put Marcelo as starter in Fluminense w/ just 17yo) saying in a TV show, that he has the same feeling in Marcelo, that it saw watching Kaka developing. The coach said that after Kaká, only Marcelo gave him the impression of a star in the making...and knowing the personality of this boy, expect Marcelo to find a role in Milan team in the first year.

You are officially the Brazillian branch of Milanmania

One question, how highly do you rate Cichinio?

Thanks, K77SH C
Cicinho...this guy for me is a mystery. Cicinho is amazing going foward, but I nor need to say as it is for defending. Some people say that Cicinho could be a great playing in Mancine(Roma) role . But, everytime that I saw this guy playing as winger in R. Madrid, it performed lower than the expect...the thing that bothers me(and Brazil NT coach Dunga, as it showed in the last Brazil games)is the lacks of concetration in the game. The guy has all the tools to be a good defender, but is always out of position...
IMO Cicinho could be a great RB, but his team needs to create a special scheme for him...even for brazilians standards of RB defence, Cicinho is below average
My rank of brazilians RB:
1º Daniel Alves

2º Cafu, Cicinho, Maicon, Rafinha, Eduardo Ratinho(Corinthians)
3º Denis(Santos)

4º Beletti

Im really not a fan of Cichinio and would probably put him in your fourth division. I like what I have seen of Maicon though.

Maicon is a powerful player, strong physically and was a good purchase by Inter.

Baldini is going shopping in Brazil for the January window it seems. Apparently he has his eye on Lenílson and Ilsinho of Sao Paulo, Edmílson of Paraná??, Lucas of Grêmio and everyone's favourite Marcelo of Fluminense.

What with Gago also on the table for Barca & Real, it seems we may be picking from their leftovers.

You can be assured that if either of these two clubs sounds out some young talents, they won't then decide against it and come back empty handed like we did.

It doesn't matter if there isn't a place for them here at this very moment, we can always loan them out. The main thing is to secure players like this as quickly as possible, something we don't seem to be able to do at times.

No, is Lenilson(OM of Sao Paulo), that is a normal player. I dont understand the hype ...and the other is Ilsinho(RB of Sao Paulo), people always talks about his potential, and the guy almost go to Villareal, but is early to talk about Ilsinho game...
I´m high on Lucas, that is playing amazing football here, and deserve the call for Brazil NT. But Lucas isn´t better than Marcelo...and I´m not bashing Lucas, just Marcelo talent is amazing!!!
