Mehdi is an unknown quantity at this point
I don't see anything changing until we get a new coach. Guys like Rijkaard and Van Basten are not afraid to experiment.

Carletto: Luca Antonelli is promising player from the Primavera. He is a great player and he will start tomorrow. Matteo Darmian is a good player from our Primavera. He reminds us a bit of Di Gennaro, who was very talented. We are watching the Primavera with great attention, especially because next season three players will need to come from the youth sector.

I feel happy to know that we will consider getting the Primavera players into the first team. Its time to show the credibility of our youth system. I am sure that Antonelli and Darmian will be give contracts next year (iff what Carlo has said is true). Antonelli has shown his worth in the matches he has played till now most importantly during the Milan vs Brescia game. I hope he is the continuation to the Milan prodigy called Paolo Maldini. Darmian has received a call for Italy U-18 team where he will probably be playing today or tomorrow.

Remember it. Alex Guerci. Alex Guerci. He's now maybe 16 or 17 years old.

Well Guerci isnt a striker. He plays midfield.

Is it because he was with the first team , or did he carry some injury ?

I noticed he's the only midfielder from Primavera team that makes it to the first team ( so far only as a substitute), and he was also in Italy u-17 team (as a sub, tho ).

It looks like he's very talented, and that's why seeing him benched when primavera team plays is confusing !

Darmian is not even 17 years old yet... Actually he is tomorrow. So he made his debute with the first team as a 16 year old, that can often turn out to be stuff of legends, but also someone we never hear much of again. Marzoratti will probably be back with us for next term, having one year where he played most games in serie A is good.

Why does he remind us of Di Gennaro? And why did he say he WAS very talented? Isn't Di Gennaro with us anymore??

Doesn't one of our youth teams have a decent keeper?
worse than kalac is quite impossible IMHO
maybe if he were about 15-17 years younger, I might understand his errors due to young age and unexperience but he is allready 35.
The second keeper of milan should be an reliable (old) player but I really have my doubts with this guy. The reason we have him really worries me. He might look dangerous and fierce but when I see him play he really makes me laugh...
Numerous errors with australia (if that is their second best keeper perhaps best keeper I really don't envy them, and I envy lot's of NT coz I'm from Belgium )

and time after time errors with milan. I do realise that Dida also had it though (remember his mistake in the leeds game) but Kalac keeps making stupid errors match after match.
anybody know exaclty how long Dida is out?

As I see it choice for second keepers is easy either you get a old keeper who knows the ropes realises he is the back up or a talented young lad that might threaten the status of the number 1 in the long run but who makes occasionally errors due to inexperience.
A team like milan should have an old reliable geezer but kalac maybe old but he for sure doesn't suit my definition of reliable.
so we might aswell use young gun instead
