Forwards from the last decade doesn't mean every player who flopped in Milan for the last 20 years.

Flop imo is a player bought for big money with big expectations in the starting 11. Moreno was a sub, who actually done well. Jose Mari was a failure as he should've replaced Bierhoff.

Papin as a cover player for Van Basten was immense. Not a good 2nd season, but we didn't score many with capello that season. Lentini as stated had a horrific injury so can't be exempt.

Kluivert was turdriffic.

BTW Sordo was ****e Jay.

Huntelaar was a good poacher, he did his job, scored goals, he played out of position too. Considering this factors, i'd not call him as a flop.

Borriello, he did well, i didnt expect better than him, so i cant call him a flop.

Oliveira, was a good counterattack striker, who was injured for long term at that time, then loaned to Sao Paolo to get his self back, during this term, Milan signed him, Milan overpayed him. i'd not call him as flop too.

Here we come, The Real Flop is Alberto Gilardino, who was called as best italian striker at that time, he did nothing, failed, Flop is Gilardino.

Not a beast of a player but a beast of a man , when he tackled he took everthing out and usually gave away a foul...and Papin was big money at the time and simply did not deliver.IMO

Sure Papin was big money but if 1st season he scored 13 in 22 games for a winning Milan, whilst the next season he didn't play as much and Massaro was clinical, even if he on;y scored 11 in league. Still Papin when he played was a good player and I can still remember his winning goal vs inert in league, which imo means he didn't flop.

Just like Comandini in a certain tennis match. Only scored 3 goals for Milan, but the 2 he scored in that match make him a hero.

I think Oliveira, but he was more a failure by management than himself a flop, he had a good scoring record before but was injured long term and management rushed to find a forward

if we could wind back a bit more in time, I could think of a few more strikers: Duggary, Kluivert, Anderson, Moreno, Jose Mari.

Hmm bad performance, i guess. But wait a second, the whole team played horrible according to Goal.com. Away match against the league leaders, I guess they could be for given for that. Its the beginning of the most unpredictable league of the world, even Bayen are sitting at 13th

Mark my word KJH will end up as the golden ball winner for the season 2010-11 or maybe 2nd behind David Villa or Messi

Anyway, one more name on this list should be Andry $hevchenko-76 (not the real one though). Absolutely showed lack of class and values by deciding to return to San Siro after 2 seasons

And the following information should added to this poll in front of the names of two of the most loyal AC Milan players ever:

- Huntelaar (because of Leonardo)
- Gilardino (because of poor tactics)

Keep Sheva-76 out of this....he doesn't qualify. I'll just use Tony75's reasoning: "Flop imo is a player bought for big money with big expectations in the starting 11." ...that was never the case when Sheva was brought back...there weren't any big expectations anymore.

Gilardino 1 because he had high expectations 2 He was effing expensive (At the time since man city made 24 mil sound cheaper now) 3 He was hopeless at his worst

lol lets leave kjh out of this because he was useless for us and hes nothing more then a team play, a box striker. when we face big teams he doesnt have the class to just take on a few players and create something out of nothing. we have 4 players who are capable upfront now, r80,r70,pato and ibra are all capable. boriello and huntelaar are not. they always lost the ball when they didnt get it near the box... btw biggest flop was oliveira- i saw that gila flop coming bcuz he never had the neccesary skill just another box striker.... oliveira looked like he could do it because he actually had ball control and speed but oh well.. forza milan

oliveira with out a doubt!
how can the others classify as flops? Gilardino scored goals until he was kept up front all alone, Borriello did a decent job, and Huntelaar did enough with the minutes he got. Of course none were exceptional, but by no means horrible.
