Remember that blonde guy we had in our team Tommason!!!?? He scored a tons of goals...all coming as a substitute, nobody was calling for him to be a starter, why do we ask for Hunter to start when he has proved over and over again that he can`t provide when we play normal football..he is only good when we play Gung Ho fotball..when is all attack......Solskjaer anybody?? Borrielo is not a goal machine..and yes Hunter is better finisher( he proved it against Man Utd, both games ) But don`t underestimate the effect he has on Pato and Dinho..its obvious that both of the wingers are more comfortable with him as a Striker.. I hate stats...but maybe Geo or anybody can make some stats sheets with how pato and dinho played when Borrielo or Hunter were playing...that will give as an idea who actually fits better the system.

Agreed with OCMilan. Huntelaar played along with his teammates more than Borriello did. Simple one-two with Seedorf and Ronaldinho, and pass-and-run. Borriello at best was knocking down headers to teammates. Plus, I get frustrated watching him dribble down to the corner flag whenever he has the ball up front (it's partially his fault, I do think support is lacking at times).
Anyway, I understand he has to be selfish to show his ability and make his case to Lippi. I hope he can utilize his strength, skills and vision more effectively to help the team. If there is another thing I learnt from Wednesday, I think we really need a Kaka-alike player to speed up plays during counter. Pato is good player, but he's not quite as good as Kaka was to Milan. |

He played 9 games as starters from ehmm how many games have Milan played? Well, I don't totally blame Leonardo for not playing him often but before we judge how good Huntelaar for Milan is, we should give him real chances. |

I think most of the milan fans are on the right track with Dzeko and krasic. I'd like to add Nilmar and Neymar to the list. I think our emphasis should be on versatility in attack...Hunt is accused of being some kind of ace finishes and Borri is allegedly a powerful CF who can't finish. Their deficiencies are glaring atm. If Borri could finish or if Hunt's body was useful for anything other than knitting we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

What is the difference between those two and Pato, I mean they are all skillful & fast striker, right? Hunter has only one match in good form Milan, along with Dinho & Pato. In this match against Udinese, he scored 2 goals. I think he will play even better with Seedorf behind him. I welcome Dzeko, but at this time, I'd rather believe in our players. Forza Hunter |

I think drucurl put it best when he said that Huntelaar's body is not really meant for him to be a CF... he should do something that he is comfortable with and that comes naturally.... he should start knitting.
Just as how Gila failed, Hunter has failed too miserably. I hope you guys now see that we had nothing against Gila it's just that these type of players are not good enough for Milan. |
